  1. I did the jewelry making on Brilliance of the Seas in January. You had a choice of two kits, $10 each. It was pins and wires you had to cut, bend and put on beads. It was an hour break from the sun, not much else.
  2. I did buy the BOGO and I assumed Chops the first night but we went to the restaurant before Sailaway to confirm. He asked what order I wanted for the restaurants. Both restaurants were not busy but both were outstanding. I especially liked Chops.
  3. I too was on this cruise (party of 5) and agree you captured the fun through your review and pics. Like you, I thought the MDR food was good but we also ate twice in specialty and thought both Chops and Giovanni's were amazing. The BOGO is a great deal. Last day we did the Puzzle Break - a lot of fun if you like escape rooms - and the Quest game show - absolutely hilarious. In Cozumel we did Trikes Cozumel and toured the island on three-wheeled motorcycles. A really great cruise!
  4. I've read prior posts but am still confused what I need. My family will be on a 5 day Brilliance of the Seas cruise and my son wants the Internet to Snapchat/twitter/iMessage and generally surf the web. Streaming movies is not important but Twitter and Snapchat is very important. So is Voom Surf enough or does he need the stream option too? Also, I've read on some ships, texting works at no or very little cost. Is this true on Brilliance?
  5. I'm sailing on Brilliance of the Seas January 7 2019. I've read it takes time to maneuver out of the bay and am wondering when to expect the ship sails under the Skyway Bridge. I want to make dinner reservations but not be stuck in the dining room with no view.
  6. Just booked this cruise for January. Chose it for the date and itinerary. Glad to hear you found the ship beautiful. Can you share when the shows are in the evening. I'm trying to figure out when to make reservations for My Time Dining. Thanks.
  7. We are going to be sailing on the Brilliance in January and my 21 year old son will be sharing our room. We will be in a balcony cabin. Is an upper berth more comfortable than a pullout? Right now I'm holding a room with only a pullout but I could change. With three of us, should I go with a spacious balcony cabin instead?
