So just talked to Royal about my refund. I cancelled an August Harmony cruise on March 31. I had a refundable deposit of 250.00 and had made 2 extra payments on the balance. 

One was for 75.00 and one for 29.57. I was told when I cancelled  7-10 days for refund in the amount of 354.57

Today I was told that I had a refund of 122.00 disbursed on April 19. I asked where was the rest. Got the usual answer of ,so sorry it was stuck in the system.  

She said that just this morning they were advised that the system between Royal and the banks had been overwhelmed but as of this morning  it had been fixed and refunds should start flowing now. 

She said she fixed my issues and now my 354.57 will be coming in 5 , yes 5 separate  payments. 

Sorry Royal but I  don't really believe this. I have been working towards Diamond  +  but I  think I will give up. 

Just received an email about my Aug 23 Harmony sailing. They have extended the Cruise with Confidence sailings through Sept 1.

Doesn't look good for summer sailings

I agree. If everyone in cabin did not have to purchase it they probably would not have had to lower the price. You know it was not lowered out of the goodness of their heart:p

Still says 15 and everyone in cabin must purchase.

Starting Aug 8 ,Carnival lowers it's drink package for a 7 day cruise to 37.50 a day. That I would buy:)

Forgive me if I am wrong, but I do not see the option to purchase on the 2nd day any longer. It says you must purchase for the length of the cruise.

Check out the NCL boards for info.Seems like if you switched to NCL you are out of luck again.

From reading the Carnival boards, it looks like they charge 20.00 for their Live Concerts. $20.00 for a first come first serve seats and $100.00 for VIP seating in the first three rows with a meet and greet with the performer.

It also looks like they are having a hard time selling these shows and are giving away a lot of tickets including VIP tickets on board.

Royal does not require both people to purchase the beverage package.

I had the middle aft and my sister had the corner aft on the Jewel. I liked the middle one better.

Carnival also limits drinks to 15 in a 24 hr period from 6AM-6AM.
