I once holidayed at Polperro but dont remember it too well as was still at school at the time so it was a long time ago. Back then it was possible to drive in but I dont think that has been possible for many years, like lots of Cornish villages there are big carparks on the outskirts.

I feel sure it is one of the Welsh castles and I visited most of them back in about 1975 but my memory is a bit hazy now. I will try Caervarvon Castle first
