Has anybody heard anything about the secret dry dock for the paradise in November?
Do you know if that's happening before or after Thanksgiving week?

Thanks for the great review with pictures!
Did you do the liquor tasting? Is that only on Monday?
I thought about trying that but wondered if I'd make it in time to the Bust a Move Dance lesson.

Cool! I see lots of positives about Mr. Sanchez. Thanks for your input.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks! We sail in November.
Do you recommend any particular excursions? We're currently looking at 'Mr. Sanchez' in Cozumel but have seen other similar ones and wondered if one was better than the other. Any tips on excursions would be great! One of us wants to visit the stingrays. One of us is a little leery of that. We were considering something in Grand Turk but haven't narrowed it down yet.
Also, did you go to the ship's piano bar? If so, did it draw a good crowd? We like piano bars.
What's the best place/station to eat? Very glad that this ship has the all-night pizza! We've enjoyed that on our other 2 Carnival cruises.
We're walkers. Which deck is good for walking?

Thanks! I can't wait! I hope more people sign up for the roll call. Barely anyone on there yet! :)

Thanks for posting about your experience in San Miguel. Although we've traveled to places and encountered that sort of pushiness before, it's nice to be forewarned in advance so we can have our game faces on OR just avoid it all together.
We're cruising on the Paradise in November. This will be our first time in Grand Cayman or Cozumel.

So, there is a Serenity Deck, but, you may want to check out the Tides Pool on the back of the ship if that deck is too crowded. We never had an issue getting a lounger chair and it's a great place to be to take photos when you're leaving a port because everything is directly behind you. There were a few children at the Tides Pool but it's a large deck and getting splashed while tanning was never an issue for me because there are lots of seat that are not in close proximity to the pool. There are also 2 hot tubs, a drink station, and a bar at the Tides Pool
Carnival Continues To Cutback
in Carnival Cruise Lines

We're still really new to cruising but so far have been happy with Carnival. It doesn't bother me too much that they are no longer offering lobster on the shorter cruises. For us, it's more about enjoying the rest & relaxation element and we've been able to do that on both cruises. If my dinner shows up hot and without a long wait, my room is kept tidy, and I can lay on a lounger all afternoon without being splashed, I'm a pretty happy camper.
What other cutbacks, besides the lobster, are being made?
