And just  like that BAM! Im back at the airport- now off to find the Galveston express spot!

CRUISE DAY!!!!!@

Lets try this again- waiting for the hotel shuttle (🤨)  to take me to Houston Hobby so I can catch the Galveston Express.

Well, Im here finally. Called for the hotel shuttle and waited...and waited...after 50min I got an Uber and was at the hotel in less than 10min. And...my electric toothbrush is on the fritz, and how bout the ding in my suitcase.

One thing you should know about me...sh*t magnet! Nuff said🤪

Made my connecting flight, already emptied my bloody mary - yes i was just gonna use bm for bloody mary but then well.......i didnt think that would be prudent.....

Anyone remember Mad Libs? I think thats what they were called, just add in nouns, verbs and adjectives

At this point, i have taken my anxiety meds (i dont fly well) and am filling out my seat nicely.  Had i known there was a delay earlier i would have waited to take the meds but to late now. I had an abnormal EKG about 2 hours ago so its good for me to be relaxed

Yep, flight delayed, so far only by 20 min, if it goes longer than 45 i will probably miss my connecting flight

BUT, PAUL BLART TO THE RESCUE

Deja vu...back on I-10 to Jax, then appointment, then over the Dames Point Bridge, on to 95, to the airport to park NOPE, all economy lots full!!! Scrambled up the road and found a place that was suitable for Brunhilde, whew!

At the airport having a bevy.... i can honestly say that The Jacksonville international airport is one of my favorite airports.

One last appointment then off to the airport-YAY

So dinner tonight. Nowhere grille 

Having the Nowhere shrimp (highly recommend)  308 shrimp, house salad and onion rings.

Chilling at home, then out to eat and Print out luggage tags, boarding passes and unpack/repack.

Tomorrow- back to to Jacksonville

South of the Border is one of the biggest tourist traps around, but we love watching all the Billboards.

I dont remember the exit number but it is right off I-95, was on my right side going south-

I'm at my appointment. Friends always ask why i make early doctors appointments?

Because the waiting room looks like this ( not full of people coughing and sneezing all over!)

MD appt in the am, then 2.5 hours to home- we will see what happens when the dog has not seen her mama in 2 months....never been away from her that long and lets just say she has some issues....stay tuned

There are many things i wanted to take pictures of today but when you are haulin a** down I- 95 and by yourself there are limitations... if no one is nearby i may be able to snap a pic and then edit, so....The Sombrero tower at South of the Border and Buc-ees in Florence. I was going to go inside at Buc-ees but, no, i just wanted to get back on the road since I left several hours late

Standard broth with crunchies, baby tako (octopus), salad with ginger dressing, squid, mackerel and yellowtail sashimi with salmon roe nigiri and salmon skin roll, of course hot sake

What Italian restaurant was that? I've only done Sammio's in Fayetteville (Olive Garden doesn't count LOL). My sister lives near Fayetteville, so I am there from time to time and am always on the lookout for places to eat.

I actually had Sammio's one day- someone brought lunch in to the office and it was delicious! The office was on Robeson and there was a Sammio's on Raiford road right around the corner

I ate at a place called Little Italy- right across the parking lot from my hotel (I would not stay at that hotel again)

I wish i had known about that bbq place!
