10 days ago we departed the Voyager of the seas  ( Hong Kong to Vietnam )

my wife left her wallet in the locked safe.  we were in separate rooms.

in her MK wallet was cash, ID card, Thai and UK bank cards / credit cards.

I informed RC, who sent me an email, which I should keep clicking to see if there is any update.

So far, it has not been found.

Her name was on the cards, and the wallet was in a locked safe, which would have to be opened by a member of staff, and so the wallet must be connected then to my room number which in turn connects to my email.

Can anyone please tell me their experiences with lost property and why is it taking so long?   I do have trust in RC but ........

I booked a 'day' cabin the the Caribbean. But only had access to it for a few hours and was asked to leave around lunchtime, so had to go and find somewhere to sit on the ship. But worth it yes.

Still no written confirmation on the website I wish they would.

I am guessing that will come after 30th September 2018. I have had verbal confirmation from P and O. You will have to buy the package onboard from a bar.

I am reading many posts about the new drinks package, which is currently being trialled on Azura at the moment. I will be on Britannia mid October 2018, and am wondering when this new full drinks package will be available on every ship, if anyone knows that is...? Thanks

I have just come off Celebrity Silhouette and had a premium drinks package and am on Britannia next month to Rome. For Celebrity, I originally liked the idea of a package, as it was free, but I did find that I drank more. Also I think if the cruise line offers a package then the price of the drinks are normally inflated. X offered sold a small bottle of Stella for 12$, which is a huge mark up. P and O don't offer a full drinks package, but their prices are cheaper than Celebrity, in comparison.

If I had to pay for a drinks package I would not, so will be quite happy on P and O next month

If I had a suite on RC or X and the drinks package was free I would also like that, of course, but end up getting too drunk some nights, which I don't like.

did a Transatlantic in one of those suites right at the front/side by the bridge and it was too windy, so hardly used the balcony, and I like to sit out there.

I would never choose that cabin position again.

Just off Silhouette and they had all UK premiership football matches on Sport24 in your room.

Thanks for replies. The reason I ask is that P and O have a small bluetooth BOSE sound system in the rooms. I will have to take my own speaker yes.

Just wondering - My wife and I have this package, (my 2 children have normal soda package - with suite) are we able to order more than 2 alcoholic drinks in our room through our butler? or will the butler be strict on this and limit us to one alcoholic drink each.

When we are at the bar or in a restaurant can I order a cocktail and one beer to drink at the same time - for me to drink?

Thanks for replies. I phoned them in the end and made my dining reservations. I am not on a 3 dining package.

Compared to other cruise lines, I hate to say it, but Celebrity is a bit rubbish.

If I want to book a certain date, I cannot - i have to choose from a choice of 3 nights.

And when I do try and book Murano nothing is available for any time and any day. I have booked Tuscan Grill and Lawn Club for days I did not want

Maybe they are having a few problems. I don't know. I will have to ring.

Yes, no problem. They have several tables for four set up but if you were to arrive and they were taken they would push two twos together for you. Nothing is too much trouble in Luminae. Whilst we usually arrange an ‘ish’ time with them ‘7ish’ if you arrive at anytime they will usually have you sat down in minutes.

 

You will enjoy your Luminae experience but we also do enjoy the speciality restaurants and would recommend you do give them a go.

 

Make sure you utilise your other suite perks too like afternoon tea in Michael’s Club, butler service in your room, priority tendering....

Unlike MDR Luminae doesn't have different sittings, in our experience most people seem to arrange a dining time preference on day one (as we always do) or alternately ring ahead of time to ensure your table and time. Have never sen anyone waiting for a table, but there again we eat early so may be different later.

 

If you have Luminae why would you want other dining venues (imo), it's one of the biggest draws for us to a suite, coupled with Michaels ?

 

Internet speed seemed fine to me and granddaughter would soon have mentioned if it was slow.

 

Should add that your confirmation of booking will not show Luminae, so that's why you will see a dining time as that relates to MDR prference.

If food is the biggie then keep your cabin, do a 5 night specialty dinner package and eat like a king. :)

Ok so I have upgraded to Sky Suite and cannot wait. I got my online login details through and have a question or 2 please;

If I order a 3 night speciality package now, and afterwards make 3 online reservations for speciality dining will the discount be applied or using this package do I have to book the restaurants another way?

What are the internet speeds like? With P and O they are poor while for Royal C they are good. I won't personally use the internet much, but my wife and 2 children always do, so I usually go for 2 packages.

For dining in the Luminae. I am on a wait list for anytime dining ( i prefer this ) and have been put on 1st sitting for now. If I go and ask the Maitre D' to change to anytime, what are the chances of him changing me over?

edit so can Sky Suite customers have access to luminae and michaels restaurants ? is there even a michaels on silhouette?

I am booked on the Russian / Scandiavian cruise on the 4th Aug this year - concierge class.

Is there any chance I can book, while onboard, the Blu speciality restaurant if I am concierge class? I am hoping if the restaurant is not fully booked maybe I can book.

Or if I change to a suite class can I book Blu, while on board, if there is space available? So what I am asking does a suite passenger have better priority over anyone else for Blu

( i know Aqua class have first priority ).

There is a penthouse suite still available for the 17 Night, August 2017 sailing on the Ventura.

I have read mixed reports about this suite, one being it is quite noisey.

Has anyone been in this suite. Is it worth paying the extra money ?

Just a little update, to those that like Pokemon Go. I am now onboard the Oasis, and on any MOVING ship you can use an incense and the pokemon will pop up every minute. May have to log in repeatedly. and you get RARE ones, as well as the usual regular ones. No incense, no pokemon ( may get an odd one if you are lucky ). No pokestops on the ship.

and sadly we do not have internet, or 3/4g in the ports so cannot catch any local ones.
