Hi everyone, does anyone know if these are still in place on Marella ships?

Great news mate - thank you so much for the info!

Many thanks for the quick reply, Dave.

Hi, I'm sure some of you helpful people may have done this before and can give us some advice.
We are doing a 7-day Canaries/ Madeira cruise on 28th February 2023, with a 3-day hotel stay in Costa Adeje following the cruise. Website says coach transfers are included. Will the coach take us from the cruise port to the hotel? I'm hoping that we don't have to get the coach from the cruise port to the airport, then another coach from the airport to the hotel!!
Many thanks in anticipation,
Del

We were on a similar cruise last November/December and the view of the lights from the ship were absolutely incredible. We also went on an excursion to see the lights and Christmas Market, but best views were from the ship itself.

Is it not the case that only duty free bought on the TUI outbound flight can be taken on board??

Does anyone have any idea why the are just stopping testing for the month of October? Is that to see if there is a spike in cases, giving them the option to reinstate testing should they see fit?

Many thanks for the prompt reply!!

Hi all, Can anyone advise which cabins/suites on D2 have sun loungers?
-
Just received an email from NCL to advise that, for the rest of the year, none of their ships will be visiting St Petersburg, Russia (we were doing a cruise on Prima on 3rd September 2022, and a St Petersburg overnight stay was scheduled).
They say that 'Our team is working diligently to confirm replacement ports and will advise all impacted guests and travel advisors as soon as possible'.
I suppose it's a case of 'wait and see' details of the ' new' itinerary, before deciding whether we wish to continue?

Hi all, we're on a B2B cruise in November 2021 on Marella Explorer visiting Canaries and Madeira. Post-cruise, the ship arrives in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria circa 0800 hours, but our return flight does not depart until 1535.
Can anyone advise what is likely to happen between those times; are we able to remain on board and use the ship's facilities, or do we have to disembark shortly after 0800 hours, and take the transfer to the airport?
Many thanks in advance

Thank you all for the prompt and informative replies, notwithstanding not the answers I'd hoped for!!
@ggTexasGal flight situation seems different within the UK, as both our flights are for specific dates/times, and are confirmed as such on the KLM website.
Thanks again to all.

Going on a Baltic cruise on the NCL Prima in September 2022. Just had our flight details confirmed by NCL, and the return flight from Copenhagen to LHR (then on to Glasgow) leaves at 5.45pm. When should we expect our transfer (port to airport) to pick us up?
Are we able to use all aspects of the ship prior to the pick-up, meals, drinks etc??
Many thanks in anticipation.

It certainly made it worthwhile for us as 2 bottles wine usually racks upto £50-£60 per night, then pre dinner drinks and going to club after show 🍻🥂🍾 lol
Looking forward to our cruise in November, even more than I already was

We've taken it both cruises with marella and defo worth it, OH likes his gordons and tonic and i like a bellini pre dinner and always have bottle pinot grigio for me and bottle of merlot for OH with dinner also like being able to go to the coffee port, its amazing how little extras can add up so no bill at end is a bonus.
Doing sober october at moment and its a killer but the weights dropping off lol
Does the premium package include bottled wine with meals. I didn't think that was the case, but will be delighted if wrong?

Basically because they do not do private transfers , your TA might be able to arrange it but as a private non marella service
Many thanks for your reply - only reason I am looking into this is that I read (maybe on here?) that when a passenger tested positive prior to embarkation those in close proximity to him/her on the coach also had to self-isolate.
I realise that same could happen on the flight, but possibly one less thing that could go wrong.

Thanks for all your replies - much appreciated. Finally managed to speak to someone at Marella, only to be told that, as I booked through a travel agent, the request must come from them.
I told them that, as I had already booked excursions and seats together on the plane, I couldn't see why the same should not apply to this request.
Anyway have contacted my TA and they will look into the matter.

Do you mean from airport to ship and vice versa
Yes, that's exactly what I'm looking for

As title suggests, is it possible to arrange private (rather than coach) transfers on a Marella cruise? If so, how do I go about doing this?
Many thanks in advance

Many thanks for the reply JTS. Booked this cruise back in March and I'm sure no inside cabins were bookable at that time. As you say, this would seem to suggest that capacity may well be increasing/have increased.
Time will tell whether this is a positive or negative!!

Voyager cabin help, please

Hi, we're considering booking a cruise on Voyager October 2024 (I know, I know). Looking to possibly book a balcony cabin with large balcony (seemingly 3 square metres bigger than the normal one)
Could anyone advise if these come with sunbed(s), or is it just the usual table with 2 chairs?
Many thanks in advance.
