If you aren't happy with Princess why would you take their cruises? Also we have Smash burger in Minnesota.!

We are in C526 and while they assured me we would have the queen bed but the lady i talked to didn't know what the no night stands meant... She thought maybe they were trying something different. There are much older threads on here from 2009 which say that our cabin is only twin beds. But maybe thats if the upper bunks are out? I don't know for sure but why put it on the website if it isn't true?

Maybe someone could check while they are cruising around Hawaii!

Oops... Not a surge protector but just the kind that offers more plugs. I need it for a place to plug in my cpap machine

They probably won't post anything until they have all the facts...right now it is only the people on the ship that need the updates... IMHO I want them to tell me what they know about the problem and the next cruise rather than what they assume...

Man, Cruise critic has given me all kinds of stuff to worry about!! We are heading out to SF to go to Mexico on the Grand 12/10... Hopefully everything gets repaired and the lucky people in Hawaii don't have any less fun... The next cruise we are on after this one is out of Houston so I will be praying for clear skies over Texas! I am a glass half full person and do not understand why people would be mad and blame princess for this... Did they light the fire!? Like someone said "SHIP happens" get over it... Put on the big kid pants and go with the flow! It happened... You can't change it so relax...

Thanks to this thread my DH and I have decided not to drive to Texas from MN for our cruise! It seems like if you have a Princess transfer and travel insurance through Princess you were inconvenienced but will be compensated... Those people who drove to the port on there own had to go to a staging area... So we will be on the shuttle from the airport and not worry... I really do love Princess and will continue to unless something changes!

We love to cruise and try to plan 2 a year. When people tell me we are lucky I just tell them ... No we are old! (65 and 66). When we were young my DH worked 7 days a week, 3 shifts and we saved money. We raised 4 kids,helped put them through private college and never went anywhere without them... When I complained about saving too much. He always said you will thank me later when we are old! So now i am old... Get me on the ship!

I always wonder why you would ever treat the person who is serving your food badly!! They have access to all of your food and I prefer mine with out their fingers in it!!! Besides, if you are not rude then they don't have to either!! This is why we sit at a table for two... If the people seated next to us are friendly then we have made new friends and if they are not then thats fine too. We can enjoy our dinner as fast or slow as we want...

Advantage to starboard side was seeing whales out in the water... Both sides see the glaciers. Alaska was one of my favorites!!

Could it be related to the bombings in Paris? We just did this cruise last year and had access to our balcony the whole time... Enjoy your cruise! It is fascinating!

Bring a surge protector bar... Plug it in on the desk... Then you should have enough plug ins...this is for any cabin on princess...

We did land tours in Alaska and it was wonderful! Rest stops are okay and luggage is brought to your room or left out side the door when you are leaving. We stayed in Princess lodges/hotel and they were always clean and nice. Have fun!
