It’s my understanding that YC passengers have the Deluxe package, allowing for drinks all throughout the ship, including your mini bar.
Sounds to me like the rep you spoke to is mistaken.
From the MSC website:
“All-inclusive meals served at your preferred time in the private restaurant and unlimited drinks in all MSC Yacht Club areas, all bars and restaurants throughout the ship, and from your mini-bar. We called RCI yesterday .... it turns out that they added pre-paid gratuities.
We had them removed, and all is well.
They also sent us invoices.

I'm sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience, Admiral.....I hope it's all squared away before our Seaside cruise next December.

Eeek. That was brave of you to have such a screw up and then decide to rebook a new cruise at a NON-REFUNDABLE RATE!!!! Why would you do that???
Hopefully they fix it and you’re able to get it worked it without having to cancel and rebook like the last time, especially since you made it so that you can’t do that without a penalty [emoji21]

Par for the course with Royal. They refuse to fix that "bug", going on 4 years now. I think it's a profit center.

I have screen shots of the deposit confirmation screen showing $1921.00
Also, I have the email showing my deposit, but, of course, not the price...only the ressie #.
I never received any other confirmation....

So, the price-drop thread the other day piqued my interest...
I called RCI and asked for a price match on an upcoming Adventure cruise..
"Mary" couldn't do anything without 15 minutes of hold while she asked her boss.
After 62 minutes of hemming and hawing, she assured me everything was a "GO!"
I logged in, and saw that she rebooked me at a price $250 more than I originally paid....
Totally worth it! Price drop!!
This morning, I cancelled the cruise, got my refundable deposit back, then I re-booked it at the new price of $1921.16, with a non-refundable deposit. (Original price was $2065.00).
Pretty Happy...
I just logged in a few minutes ago, and my account shows a total price of $2058.16(!!!!!!!).
They raised the price $137.00!
W T F?
That's not a lot of money to me, but the principle of it all really bothers me.
If I put a deposit on a product advertised as "X", then the supplier changes the price to "Y" after the deal is done, is super shady to me.
Has his ever happened to any of you?

On the newer bigger ships (epic, breakaway,getaway), there is a The Haven Restaurant or other haven couryard food places
Escape does not have “ other Haven courtyard food places”. There is the Haven Restaurant, and it is fantastic. Sometimes there is fruit/snacks set out in the Courtyard.

Why is it, that no one posts pictures of their Haven cabin pictures? Or have I just missed seeing them?

The Haven cabin we would book is $5000-6000.
Worth it to us.

Casino smoke on Escape is ridiculous. Towards the end of the night, a haze hangs over decks 8 and 7. The casino itself reads like unemptied ashtrays.

Really? Now criticizing people for NOT wearing lanyards? That was the snobbery I read in the referenced post.
Like I said, to each his own. I prefer not. Milady likes her lanyard, which is why I would NEVER say anything against them. But she uses a pouch, and not a hole in the card. Nothing wrong with them, just don't FORCE me to use one. I won't. THAT was the gist of my original post.
(And, yes, I have seen people showing off their advanced status cards with lanyards. I prefer to treat everyone equally. That's why my black cards - or whatever level depending on the cruise line - stay in my pocket. And every item of clothing I wear on a ship has pockets. YMMV)

Sounds like you were on my November 4th sailing... there were some real People of Walmart in the Haven. Not enough to put me off permanently, but they certainly had an effect on the experience.
