Print a copy of the email and make sure you show it to guest services once you're on board. I had a shore excursion match credit last week. It never got applied and I had to call once I got back. Either way you'll get the credit, just figured you might want it on board instead of waiting for Carnival to mail you a check.
Thank you so much for the advice!!! I do have it printed and that was my fear.... it has been changed in my activities section online so I think I should be ok but.... I'm planning to use my credit for cruising the vineyards :D so...... I want to be prepared

We leave next Sunday on the Imagination.... Unfortunately the exchange rate was near the highest in January when we booked however the positive was we got an AMAZING deal (IMHO) for the 4 of us for the cruise. I'm watching the rate daily right now before I exchange for our spending money I'm hoping its better this week as last week was so great!:D

I just got a lovely email from Carnival that all my visiting on these boards paid off!:) I booked an excursion from Carnival because I truly did not want the hassle of doing something when we got off the ship in port I just wanted to relax. I saw the price guarantee when I booked it but really never gave it another thought...... Two days ago I was searching around and found the tour we are doing had a cheaper price somewhere else. Have been watching all the price guarantee etc on here and it made a light bulb go off! Filled out the form on Carnival's website and a $60.48 OBC for me! Yeah... DH and I will gladly put that towards a tour the vineyards package! Thanks :D:D:D:D

Imagination still gets automatic twice a day service - no cards are given.
Yeah! Very happy about this. Thanks for the info:)

Thank you! I appreciate the info.... Would absolutely prefer a roll away... Was told the Imagination doesn't have them?

Thanks for your reply.... we will get the extension for my little one he is about 54" tall !
I appreciate the suggestion re the twin beds but this is the first "real" vacation we have taken in 14 years and my husband and I are sleeping in the same bed lol:rolleyes: SO........ we will take a bit of "confined" space inside the cabin when all the beds are out/down :D
Still curious re room service standards-- are there cards on the Imagination for preferences re am/pm?

We leave on the 20th in an oceanview cabin that has two twins made to the king (or queen), an upper pullman and then says there will be a trundle brought in for our son. He is 12 and is a small for his age kiddo....... I have two questions that I would really appreciate some help/advice on:
1. What is the extender I have seen talked about- how long is the bed without it or with it?
2. What happens to it during the day? I have seen that rooms are only serviced once a day-- do we have to jump over it all day:confused: or is it put somewhere? Same with the upper bunk-do they put it up during the day? Is the Imagination a room service once a day ship too? (YES I KNOW I can check both boxes ;))
Okay that's more than two questions lol........

We leave on the Imagination in 11 days.... :D:D:D:D...... We also bought FTTF. When I looked at our cruise documents to print (after we checked in) our boarding passes and our luggage tags all say FTTF with the logo on them :) I hope that helps

Thanks for asking this question! We are on the imagination in 21 days and its my DS 12 first cruise. I was pondering exactly this so now I have some great ideas on how to keep in contact with him. We are coming from Canada and not bringing our cell phones as the roaming fees are stupid!

Thank you all so much for your replies my DS is 12 and as we live in Calgary AB Canada we can not get a provinicial ID card until he is 16. I guess his passport it is. :)

We are travelling on the Imagination Mar 20 for four days with our DD17 and DS12. When we get off at ports of call I understand we need both our sign and sail cards and photo id to get back on..... My DH and I both have Drivers Licenses and so does our DD17 do we need to take our DS12 passport off or can we take just a photocopy or do kids need photo id? Thanks in advance!
Kids Sign and Sail account question

Thank you so much for asking about this and for the answers! I'm so appreciative of all the information and tips I have gotten here. We sail Sunday with our 2 kids and when I set up the accounts I did not give them charging priviledges. I didn't want outrageous charges however..... Our DD 17 whom has some of her own money and wants to put some on her account to be able to use and our DS 12 has a bit too....( Their grandparents have been super generous for this trip for them)
I want to allow a bit for them to spend but I don't want outrageous charges (ie $50 at the arcade at once) and our DS will need a bit of guidance so limits will certainly help him. ;)
