Yeh we were on eclipse circumnavigating NZ last Christmas. It definitely was tired and feeling a bit out of date. It is unfortunate the revolution renovation was cancelled. But also it’s less expensive than the beyond (our next cruise). 

Makes perfect sense to me. When I’m booking a cabin for my 2x parents I choose two people and two-person cabins come up. When I’m booking a cabin for my 3x family I choose three people and it shows three-person cabins. 
Why would it be any other way? Just do two different searches if you want to see other cabins.

You don't need to do that. Gratuities are optional for everyone. You just go to guest services and ask for them to be removed.

Get a taxi from airport to Rome. It is a flat rate of 48 Euros and is very easy. We walked straight of the terminal into a taxi this week - in high season. Print out a google map to show the driver if you like.

A RomeCabs transfer is a few extra euros - you cd do that but the taxi is easy.

We booked RomeCabs only for our transfers from Rome to Civitevecchia and back to the airport after the cruise.

Here's the Australian Govt caution map - as you can see the risky areas are a long way away. I hope our itinerary does not change but personally I'm happy either way.
