  1. I thought I read somewhere that they are investing a lot into their mobile experience and would be introducing a brand new app/mobile experience sometime this year and have it work on every ship in the next coming years. If I remember correctly, they stated the app will have all the features of Royal IQ plus more.

Looking through my fuzzy memory, I believe they hired the same guy who helped create the My Disney Experience and Magic Band for Walt Disney World.

  2. If they use a shot glass, wouldn't that be considered a standard 1.5 oz pour? I wouldn't consider that weak... but rather standard. Unless some people consider anything other than strong to be weak. In Vegas, comped drinks are starting to show up with a 1.2 oz or less pour. Now that is what I consider weak!

  3. I found out about asking for multiple items in the MDR on my last Carnival cruise and I am very prepared for it on our upcoming Allure cruise! However, I was wondering if you can ask for entrees or dissert to-go at the end of your dining? Sometimes there are two items I really want to enjoy but know better and only have room for one. Can I order the other item to-go to have later?

  4. Thanks for posting all the menus and compasses! We are sailing soon and I have been told the drink package only includes drinks up to $12. It seems by the menu most drinks are $13. Are you being charged for everything over $12 or over $13?

The Deluxe Drink Package has a limit of $13 per drink on Oasis Class ships. For some reason this is not explained in the description of the package.

  5. I was looking through the deck plans for Allure of the Seas and noticed there is no bar listed inside Windjammers. Is there a bar inside the buffet? The closest one's are Mast and Sky Bar. If they don't have a bar do they have cocktail servers?

Also, on a different topic. My girlfriend was wondering if Royal Caribbean pours a standard 1.5 fl oz pour in each drink. We've been hearing Las Vegas has started to pour 1.2 or even 1.0 in some of their cocktail and was wondering if that has spread to the cruise industry.
