  1. Remydiva—we called to cancel our October 2020 Celebrity cruise to Europe the beginning of April and the money was refunded in a few days. We called Princess to cancel our FCC that were sold to us as fully refundable about the same time and have been getting the runaround.

    Nho9505–called Princess this morning about my money and they would not put me through to Customer Relations.

Remydiva—To answer your post—if you put in the contract the clause—Time is of the essence, the contract can be voided and your money refunded after due date.  This can’t be done with our money that Princess is holding and they know it. Again, very bad customer relations.  Canceled a cruise to Europe with Celebrity for this October and deposit was refunded in 2 days.  Would not hesitate to sail with them in the future.

My husband and I put down $600 on FCC while on our last cruise in February.  $200 was toward an Iceland cruise in 2021 and the remaining $400 was for any cruise that caught our eye in 2020.  Called April 8 and asked for the $400 to be credited to our credit card since cruises in 2020 do not look promising. Was told that it would take 60 dates to process. Called this morning since 60 days is right around the corner and was told they have no idea when we will get our refund.  Asked to speak to someone in customer service and was rudely told that they are not taking calls about refunds. If we do not get this refund in the next month, we will cancel our 2021 cruise and never sail Princess again.  We are elite with Princess and they do not care.

  4. Cruisemom42--Do I need to find others to share ride from hotel to port or just ask to book a shared ride. Many years ago we used Rome IN Limo for just the 2 of us. Prices have risen and would prefer to share but no response from Roll Call.

  5. We are interested in doing this tour but are not beach people. How much time is spent at the beach and are there any shady spots to sit? Would there be places to sit at the falls and mud baths and time at these sites.

  6. We are using a service since there is no Embassy for 400 miles. In filling out contact information, there is no place to put a name so I thought they wanted my numbers. How did you handle that? Also the agency tells me to upload my picture and you indicated that you pasted yours on. Any information would be helpful.

  7. We only have 1 or 2 days to do this since we're on a b2b and still want a day to see BA where the ship will be for 3 days. Have been told we can only see Argentina side which is fine. How easy is it to make air reservations close to time of trip and picking up taxi from ship to airport?

  8. They never told us about the free shuttle service. It was very early and the person we returned the car to was very rude. Told us it was very far to the JetBlue terminal. Had no choice but to pay $25. Never use Hertz again. Had problems when picking up car at Port Everglades. Ended up with a car that veered to the right. Very scary for 5 days of driving. Was credited 30% back for that but they would not take the $25 off. Still looking for suggestions on another rental company for our next cruise

  9. Our Hertz rental car was dropped off at the FLL rental return excectly where we dropped it off in the past. The person that drove us in our rental car over to the terminal told us that the $25 fee was implemented about 2 weeks ago and everyone is very angry. Called Hertz customer service this morning and was told that is the new procedure. Car was dropped off this past Friday. Looking to use another car rental that does not charge in the future. Any suggestions?
