I have final payment due soon and have a lot of points I can redeem on Verizon... which do I purchase in order to pay off my balance? Or can I? Love cruisecritic... would never have thought to look at the rewards until now...:)

I received the offer as well through Total Rewards players card. Picked up my voucher and made the reservation. You do have to pay port charges and tax. Getting a 7 day out of New Orleans on the Spirit for two for approx 500.00(port and taxes) Plus get VIP boarding and casino drink coupons. No time share, no gimmicks. Just received another one in the mail for next year as well. This is sweet! And believe me, I am not a high roller as you may think. The casino slot cards really pay off!

While I was scrolling through the posts on this thread I did see the French Onion soup recipe.. It is 4 or 5 pages back...

I begged our maitre'd for the recipe. The one I have is autographed by the head chef on the Pride.... good luck with conversions.

For ten Portion:

375g Black Chocolate 64% (very important not to use other types of choc)

375g Butter (not margarine)

8ea Egg yolk

7ea egg whites

250g sugar

170g sifted flour

-Melt the chocolate and the butter together until 64 Celsius

-Blend the egg yolks, egg whites and the sugar together then add the butter-chocolate mixture

add the flour, using a wisk

Put it in the forms (prepare with butter and flour) and leave it for one day in the fridge

bake directly in the oven at 200celsius for 8 minutes
