We just finished our cruise on AOS on Saturday --- First thing I noticed upon arrival was they were offering the Chef's Table. We had to sign up and give different dates during the week we would be available. There we 8 people and we had a wonderful time talking (and eating/drinking). Jan
I just called the Crown and Anchor desk and they say Chef's Table not available on the Adventure. She said only Giovanni's Table. We dined at the Chef's table last Oct on the Serenade and loved it. So hoping she is wrong and we can make the reservations onboard!

Cas Abou...beautiful
I just checked this out on trip advisor. This is exactly what i am looking for! Do you know how far it is from the cruise port? Reasonable cab fare?

Looking for a nice beach with chairs/umbrellas and a bar with drinks/snacks in Curacao.
Anyone have any recommendations?

Anyone been to Sapphire beach lately? this used to be our favorite beach in St Thomas, but the last time we were there, it was so run down. Only a tiny snack shop with no alcohol, and the restrooms were in very poor shape.
Years ago, they used to have a nice bar with food right by the beach.
So if anyone out there has been lately, let me know your thoughts.
Thanks!!

also, with the drink package, i will try new drinks without fear of knowing i might not like it and have to pay for something i'm not going to drink.

I am well beyond the partying stage of my life, I celebrate a major accomplishment if I can make it past 11pm.
Haha, I'm right there with you!

now you can bring on board 2 bottles of wine and drink them in your cabin or in a restaurant with no corkage fee
When did this start?

ok, thanks for the quick responses!

Is Johnny Rockets open for breakfast on Adventure of the Seas? It was on Oasis, and they had a decent breakfast.

We've done the My Time Dining on our past several cruises and will never go back to traditional. We've never made any reservations, and have never waited more than a few minutes for our table. We like the flexibility that you get with my time, especially on port days.

Jen,
I may have missed it in your review, but did anyone in your group on the bear excursion have a gun? If not, I know you only have to run faster than the slowest person in the group, but i would be that slowest person!
Your pics of the bears (actually, all of your pics) are incredible! My DH, Dale, will be forever grateful to you, because your review has may me very excited to plan an Alaska cruise! We are hoping to have a few drinks with you on the Oasis so that we can hear more about your adventure.

I know it wasn't offered on the Freedom 2 weeks ago, my husband checked. Happy cruising!
What a disappointment. I was hoping to try it on my Freedom cruise next month.

I love looking at the early morning pictures. I am never up to see the sky looking like that. It really is gorgeous.
I'm also surprised that the deck chairs in his early morning photos aren't yet littered with towels from the chair hogs!:D

Radio,
I always enjoy reading your "live" posts. This one especially, since we'll be cruising the Freedom in October. Your pictures are truly amazing!

We were charged tax on our Giovanni's Table meal the first night of our recent Adventure of the Seas cruise as we were still in port in San Juan.
