Does it really matter? How many restaurants let you bring your own liquor or sodas in with you?
If you can afford a cruise, you can afford drinks.

So glad that you are posting this, and happy not to hear of the tragedy that occurred.
We are on this fine lady in November and would like all the information you can give us. Thank You.
-
Take care of it at check in, then forget about it and have an awesome time.
Enjoy and have a cocktail for me.
-
You can do either without using the cruise line excursions. Capri is a all day trip, but is what I would do.
-
No, but I will see the Jersey shore from a cruise ship in November.
-
It is not the last cabin, it is an adjoining cabin next to last on port side.
-
Google your ship and room number. Many sites to view, one should have a photograph.
It sometimes takes some searching. Good luck.
-
Found pictures of your cabin, you do face forward when in bed. Google cabin 10562 on Anthem and go to the second post. Enjoy. :cool:cool:
aka. CRUISINGGOLFER

Google photos of anthem state room 10562. You may have to look at many sites to find it. Good Luck.

In 1999 we went on an oldies cruise with NCL. This was great. Paul Revere and the Raiders, Brian Highland, Sam from Sam and Dave. So fricken great, it was Paul's birthday and all the famous people hung with the guests. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
-
We always put it in our carry on. That way it is safe and ready when we are. So we don't have to wait for our checked bags. Enjoy.

You need to search cabin pictures for anthem, there are many sites to choose from some better than others. I had a hard time with this. Some want you to join their site. Check around and good luck.

The Pan American pier is only for sailings that originate and/or end in San Juan.
For ships that originate elsewhere and are just calling on San Juan for one day as part of their itinerary, the Old San Juan pier is used.
Thank you so much for that information, saves a taxi ride.

Loving your review and pictures. I did not know that Anthem docked in Old San Juan, I thought it docked at the Pan American port. This is great. Thanks again.

Santorini is easy on your own. Take the tram up to the top, walk to the bus station,(short walk with signage) take the bus to Oia. Wander around there, have a meal, view the beautiful sea and come back. It's a great day trip.

All sailings are usually full. I would say November is better, not only is hurricane season over, but a lot of families wait until the holidays to cruise. Get ready to get hooked on cruising, come here often and ask as many questions that you can think of. We are always happy to help.

Glad you had a good time, now you know the ropes and can be more at ease next time.
You can tell it was all new to you, maybe next time you will research more.

The only thing you might want is port side sailing into San Juan, to see the forts. Or you take starboard to see the forts lit up at night. So many different choices...

Love to try any and everything. Always find something new and different.

We were on the May 22 out of Barcelona. Did not have that group on our cruise. We had the fat and ugly tour with us, so we just blended in.lol:eek: It did make people watching more fun. We loved the cruise and the staff. The biggest problem was the length of the bed in our cabin. I am only 5' 10" and my feet hung off the end.

There is a storage place in Venice to leave your luggage, don't know the cost but that would be your best bet. Enjoy your cruise, the ports are wonderful.

More nickle and dimeing you
WOW, another Debbie Downer!!! How about something positive.
People like you just ruin this site!!!

We have sailed the Jade and the Epic in the last year and everything has been wonderful.
The food is very good and the service is great... Our only complaint is we can't find a bartender that can make a good martini.
-
Cocktails!!! Get your wine package. Take pictures of what you're leaving behind.
ENJOY!!!
Umm.. Oops.. Who knew checking our C/A Points would offend someone..
