The cruise lines excursions are through Oasis Divers, so you won't be able to book independently with them.

On the Freedom of Seas, do we need to make ice skating AND evening show reservations ahead of time? Right now, for the 3-30 cruise, the reservations are not available, but I thought we just needed ressies for ice show, but then someone mentioned to me that we could also get them ahead of time for the other evening shows.
Along those lines, if we are a party fo 12 with 7:30 dinner reservations each night, can we make the 9:00 shows? It seems like we would be pretty rushed, even with reservations (if possible)
thanks!
We only had to make reservations for the ice show. You will be rushed trying to make a 9:00 show with 7:30 dinner reservations, especially with a party of 12. There is an afternoon ice show you can reserve instead of the evening performance.

We sailed with Calypso last August and it was the best excursion I've experienced. Service, food and drinks were outstanding! I wrote a review on TripAdvisor. I booked with Calypso again for 2015. You can't go wrong with either one.

Thank you so much for the review. We'll be sailing on the Freedom for New Year's. Did they change the ship time forward an hour for St. Thomas?

Does anyone know if the the Freedom of the Seas changes the time 1 hour ahead during the cruise for the Eastern itinerary for winter sailings?
Thanks, Kimberly

You will not be disappointed if you decide to spend the day with Calypso Cruises. Nick and Val were very generous hosts and provided excellent service which went above and beyond our expectations. Our day in Barbados was the best day of our cruise. The snorkeling was excellent and DH and I are certified divers and hope to return someday and dive the areas we snorkeled. The Calypso Girl is a very nice catamaran and they make you feel so comfortable. You will NOT go hungry! We had muffins, veggies and dip, fruit, cheese , crackers, sausages, salmon appetizers and then we had lunch. WOW! I was amazed. The rum punch was so good. Our 7 year old loved riding on the netting up front too. I HIGHLY recommend Calypso Cruises! :D I wrote a review on Tripadvisor too.

Have you thought about booking outside of the cruise line? We booked with Aqua Marine Dive Center for our cruise last August. We had an amazing experience. We booked the morning 2 tank dive for $125 pp. They picked us up at Havensight Pier. Our dives were approx. 50 min each. It was just the 2 of us so it was very personalized which worked out well because these were our first dives since certification. Both dive sites we went to were amazing. Top notch service and very safety oriented. I was a bit nervous being my 1st dive, but they were patient and made me feel very comfortable. They have excellent ratings on Tripadvisor and a lot of reviews.
