My husband and I aren't huge drinkers. So we only get a few drinks maybe 2 on the ship. We wait until we are on shore and enjoy some wonderful local places and grab a couple drinks.

I'm trying to figure out for a 10 day cruise if it is worth the added expense to have a penthouse vs a balcony room. It will just be me and my spouse. We don't really get to travel much since we are caregivers for our special needs son- so having a room to ourselves already feels like a success! But I love the idea of the whirlpool tub in the room...can anyone tell me why they did or didn't like the penthouse with large balcony?

I've never chosen any of the drink packages because they are not worth it to me. But I'm very cheap!
