  1. We are on Mariner 28 October! Halloween is our last night so that should be fun! The guys will be Robin Hood and Friar Tuck. My sister and I have a good time being wenches! This will be our 3rd Halloween cruise but not our last!
  2. I used to love CC and read every day. Now it’s slow and unwieldy on my phone. Please bring back the app!!!
  3. Include Glacier Bay and College Fjord. They are fabulous days of glacier viewing. We went in August 2018 for the second and I highly recommend a cruise with both— must be one way cruise. If you go south to north, the scenery keeps getting more spectacular. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  4. Bring your own but make absolutely sure that you have a flotation vest! Sent from my iPad using Forums
  5. Eden Beach is where we go. Few blocks walk from the pier and free. We rent a locker from the dive shop there. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

  7. Do not go too early if you want to see salmon. Mid July til mid August are good for salmon runs — which usually means eagles and bears. We just go back from Vancouver northbound and then 7 days land tour. Our Princess cruisetour went to Glacier Bay and College fjord. I highly recommend these for glacier viewing. Both were calving in mid August 2018 We are high loyalty cruisers with Royal, but we prefer Princess glacier itineraries and Princess lodges in Alaska. On August 26th we saw beautiful display of the northern lights in Fairbanks. We stayed a few extra days in Fairbanks and got really lucky with a clear night to see the northern lights. 8. They called and said the ship was going to Cozumel first then Costa Maya (flipped the ports). Sail away is expected around 11:30. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  9. I just heard from my friends onboard who said Majesty is still in the port of Tampa and may not leave until midnight. They have also been told that their Mexico ports might be switched around. Anybody know any more about this sailing ?? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  10. Find Columbus Beach. There is a fair amount of shade there. We like the calm water there to swim in. And there’s a lunch station there. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  11. I just rented a car in Juneau today from Avis for August 14. So it may not be too late. They have a pick up by the docks. We are docking at Franklin and the lady at Avis said it was a 5 minute walk Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  12. Eden rock is just a few blocks from the pier. There is a dive shop there and a restaurant. You can bring your own gear or rent it there you can rent a locker too. We go there every time and love the snorkeling. Check it out on line. Here’s one link I found http://www.adventuracayman.com/activities/eden-rock-2/ Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  13. You can get tea as well. Fruit juice in the morning at breakfast but you have to ask for tomato juice. Royal has a sugar free fruity drink in many dispensers (mango is the flavor I like) At happy hour in the suite lounge, you can get most mixers if you like them. There’s a cappuccino/expresso machine in suite lounges on most Royal ships that is available all day to suite guests. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  14. Ahem.. they roll the dice! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  15. Book Oceanaria early in the cruise. First day if you can. If it gets cancelled, you will automatically be rebooked for a later show. If a show is on, and you don’t have a seat, you can watch it from the boardwalk area. You can’t see as much but it is still fun to watch. If Seas are rough or it is windy, shows will be cancelled for safety. I agree about the ice show in that it is fun to watch but no story line as such. They told the dice and another skating performance happens. Loosely connected to the monopoly board. Still colorful and fun to watch. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
