  1. Our luggage tags said FTTF which is how the porters knew and they put an orange sticker on our luggage. Then our sail and sign cards had FTTF on them. I would be calling Carnival to see what's going on. I can't imagine the porters having time to read an email.

They DID call and they cannot change the tags but once inside during check in they have the email but it will not speed up their luggage thats why I was just going to put my tags on it. Its not like they did not pay for it. The porters just pass the luggage on its the baggage screeners that move the luggage to the expediting area for faster processing.

  2. I have FFTF on my upcoming cruise on the Valor and a relative is cruising with us something got messed up with their FFTF and they told them to bring the email that states they have FFTF because their luggage tags do not reflect this. I was wondering if I can just put 2 of my tags on their 2 bags to go to my room. I dont want them to delay getting their bags when they have paid for FFTF and you wont be able to show anyone the email until we are in the terminal and they take the luggage outside.

  3. My first cruise was on the Paradise and I had an awesome time and will go again. I went on the Freedom for my second cruise and while I had some complaints I still had a good time. Cruises are what you make it. If you let one thing make you mad your entire cruise will be ruined. THe larger ships are ok but too many people be prepared to wait longer.

  4. It won't apply. You can show up whenever you want. Don't buy FTTF :)

and why would you say that? FTTF is well worth the price IMO last time I was on the ship at 1130 my bags were in my room and of course my room was ready and changed into proper attire and proceeded to the pool area

  5. I usually mid way thru cruise take server aside and give him a little extra for good service if its lacking the extra cash that I give him will usually make it better if its great then he is getting what he/she works hard for. I do the same for my room steward its not a lot that I give but compared to what they actually get divided up it makes a difference. So far I've been lucky and have never received crappy service. Either way I do my best not to get too worked up about it after all we are on to relax have a great time and if you dwell it really ruins your cruise.

  6. Freeport is an industrial port. Once you get off the ship there's shopping and food in the immediate area. However, there's no walking around beyond that. Anything you want to do requires transportation.

What kind of things does your traveling party like to do?? I'd hate to recommend something you're not interested in.

was thinking about the beach but not sure of the costs, safety ect

  7. We did the Balmoral on the last cruise I believe they said it was kinda new, when we went there were no lockers just cubby holes hopefully they have them now. I remember they kinda forgot about us in the dolphin pool and we kinda got bored playing with the dolphin and I didnt think that was possible lol
