How early have you had GTY cabin assigned?

My husband and I are sailing on Icon of the Seas in late April. I booked a gty OV balcony in May. My very first time doing this, nervously. However, this was the best way we could afford the trip and my husband wants to meet up with his family that are also sailing that date. I was surprised that about 3 wks ago our room was assigned.
