Sometimes what I have found (at least at hotels) is to bring a Roku or Chromecast and use those to stream from movies on my laptop.

We were on the same cruise and experienced lots of problems with the repetitious, poor quality food especially in Prime Seven. T-bone steak was inedible, and we were surprised when the chef came out and explained to us that he was only able to buy non-prime cuts of meat.
Sounds like a pretty serious supply issue if that is the case. You would think a chef wouldn't serve at that point, especially considering the dining experience that is expected.

I have had problems with the website in the past as well. The only way to get it to work for me would be to select/pay and then do absolutely nothing on the computer. Real PITA but the only way I was able to get through.

Going on a cruise this fall and look to import some local wines (probably in the realm of cases). Already checked by local state laws and I am ok as well as understand will need to pay duty/excise tax on it. Question is if anyone has had experience doing this and if so are there things to watch out for, etc?

I have seen an old list of spirits and wine a while ago. The spirits probably don't change as much as the wine does due to vintages, etc.

Wondering the same thing and if they try to up-sell from the house wines a lot?

Really good to know. Have a special occasion planned off one of the choice excursions so I'll need to keep an eye on it.

I too have had paid extra tours cancel because not enough signed up, and I have always been able to get on something else.
How much notice do you get that it is cancelled?

This is a pretty simple database (better than spreadsheet) but might be to much for CC.

Would be a great opportunity for CC to come up with something like SeatGuru. :)

Anyone know if Port is considered premium? Only lists I have seen through searching the forums is wine/beer/spirits.

I believe that would be 'Generation Snowflake'.
I'd expand that to say I have absolutely no problem with anyone of any age as long as they're not disruptive.
Bill,
Speaking as a Millennial I can say I don't get them either. However, it may be better to use a less derogatory term such as Gen Z, Post-Millennials, the iGeneration, or Homeland Generation. Plus, if you don't you will start confusing (at least in the U.S.) the generational insults vs the political ones!

I'm in a similar situation. Plan is to start looking for a TA and get one ready and potentially book/transfer on the cruise.

I'm a millennial (33) and I approve of this message... On a more realistic note this would be targeting a smaller subset. My friends and I are are more reserved and not so much interested in the big party boats, etc. Agree with the internet and even though I am not a big jeans guy but I can see it going towards business casual style.

Interesting, I suspect more than a few times people get back to the ship later than 6pm especially if it will be there until later in the evening? Not a big deal - just go to the cabin and change. Bill, I agree - the TB looks decent enough. People need to remember men have a lot less options on clothing - especially if they don't want to broil to death in a warmer climate!

Not to hijack either but are the portions reasonable in all the restaurants? I can see after a full days itinerary I can see being pretty hungry. Granted I assume I could just order room service after! :)

I'm going to be on Voyager in the Med in early Oct. While it might be a bit cool for most, I live up North so the temps should be fine for us. I have been looking on the forums and have yet to find an answer yet on what the hours it is open on. Also, anything else I should be concerned about getting into the off-season?

I just went through a list of excursions on my trip. Looks like they are pretty clear on what is included (i.e. shuttle) and also caution on the amount of walking, etc.

Hi, Jar. If excursions just opened up for you, you're on the Voyager with us, Venice to either Athens or Rome, 7 or 19 days. One of us should start a roll call.
Your post was at 12:12 am Eastern time. Our experience is that the excursions start to be available at around 12:20; so we've given up on making our reservations at midnight. At 7 am this morning we booked some excursions, which were then wiped out. Somewhat daunted, we tried again at 7:20 am, and were able to book excursions for every port except Katakolon, which was still unavailable.
Try again now. You should be able to book your excursions.
Yup, looks like they opened up and just the website had only partially loaded - showed the excursions but couldn't login.

The reservations just opened up for me for Voyager trip in October and it is saying every single excursion is booked up. Hopefully they do add some or else it is something with the website.

I am Concierge level already so have the pre-cruise hotel. We are doing the 2 day Sacred Treasures in Athens as well which includes the transfer back to the airport. It was $1500/pp for the flight over to Europe and $400/pp on the way back.

More of an FYI than anything else:
Just upgraded from business to first last night for flights from Boston - Venice Athens - Boston (both through Heathrow) for my October trip on Voyager. Appears they charged air deviations although the website says that should not happen on an upgrade. Hopefully will get that fixed on Monday but just want people to be aware to pay attention to your billing! :)
Ended up using BA which is ok for first - wish the seats were a little larger on their Club Europe leg.

Noticing a theme here... I wonder if I can find a TA after the fact (had booked on Regent directly). As you said before in other threads, many benefits to it.

Have called a few times on different days trying to get my air deviation in but no luck. I also have tried the form contact page for my reservation and that failed as well. Anyone have helpful hints on getting through?
