We are sailing the Panorama in March and I was wondering if anyone has a recent photo (last 6 months or so) of the fitness class schedule for the Panorama?
The only one that I can find online appears to be from 2022

We are on the Mar 9 Panorama sailing and planning on staying at the Hotel Maya
I called the hotel yesterday (Sunday Oct 1) - they run a complimentary shuttle (the driver does take tips) to the Carnival Cruise Dock for hotel guests or anyone who has booked their stay and park package.
There is no set time schedule for the shuttle, so guests need to arrange a time when they arrive at the hotel

This one is much closer to the center, and there are some indications that they also offer a self-service laundry option:
Absolutt Rens Og Vask
C. Sundts gate 42, 5015 Bergen

We are sailing the Norwegian Prima June 25 and trying to plan for laundry
Does anyone have any good laundry tips for Bergen - we are looking for a standard coin operated laundromat

Where you going to hang it?
We bring our own plastic hangers and use magnetic hooks off the ceiling in the main cabin - nothing ever drys on the bathroom lines, too small and too much humidity

how many days prior to sailing does the pre-booking open?

1, Train from Blankenberge is fast (10 minutes) and cheap, probably still under €10. But since it's an hourly service and you travel the 3 miles to Blankenberge station by ship's (usually payable) shuttle it's pot-luck whether you lose up to an hour waiting for a train. Bruges station is a simple flat 15-20 minute walk to the Grotmarkt in the cobbled centre of Bruges
2. Cruise Express Shuttle . Was the go-to option when it was started, but a pre-booked taxi is better, and possibly cheaper for 4 or more. Cost whether booked direct or thru Viator or other intermediaries depends on currency exchange rates used. Drop point in Bruges is at the long-term coach park on Bargeweg, a pleasant & flat 20 to 25 minute walk to the Grotemarkt in the cobbled centre of Bruges. Pre-booking is advisable
3. Taxi. Availability is rather suspect, you're very strongly advised to book. I'm now out-of-date on the fare, what you've mentioned is much higher than I remember. Some taxis hold up to 8 passengers & the bigger the taxi the better the value - sharing via your cruise RollCall or simply touting on-board or on the quay. Buses aren't permitted in the cobbled centre but taxis are, so arrange for your taxi to drop you & collect you at / near the Grotemarkt.
4. Cruise ship shuttle. Very simple, but again you're dropped 15 - 20 minute walk from the centre. Unless things have changed it's on Bargeplein at bus stops by the "little red bridge" ("Bargebrug" on googlemaps), a couple of minutes closer than the coach park. Do be wary about "shuttle" - the word is often mis-used by cruise ships for "on your own" excursions with a set return time, so an early departure may mean an early return.
JB 🙂
Thank you John for the detailed reply - this is very helpful

We will be arriving at Zeebruges on Monday June 26 via the NCL Prima - it looks like there are 4 primary ways to Bruges:
1] Train via transfer thru Blakenberg
2] Shuttle via Viator or Cruise Express
3] Taxi
4] Cruise ship shuttle
The train seems to be the cheapest, while the taxi seems to be the most time efficient.
We are leaning towards the shuttle [3 people will be $75 and we do not mind the mile walk], because the taxi rate at $120 USD round-trip seems expensive for 60 minutes of travel time
Any options that I am missing or additional things that we should know about the transfer options?

Along with the midnight buffet extravaganza or the midnight chocolate buffet
I get axing the midnight buffets, but the taste bar is still a mystery to me
We always enjoyed the small plates and they always seemed to move the food

I have cleared fouled lines on sailboat props (basically, grab a scuba mask and cut the line loose) - anyone actually seen this done with a cruise ship?
The props on a cruise ship are a heck of a lot larger than a personal craft and the lines getting fouled are probably the inch thick mooring lines
Clearing them out of bow thrusters must be particularly fun, since those are somewhat enclosed

We turned a single cabin on Panorama in Mar 2020, into 2 cabins on Panorama in Mar 2021 (same cost), into 2 cabins on Pride in Europe for June 2022
We now have $1200 in OBC on a 12 day cruise in Europe (ports we have never done) out of a single cabin original booking - we are very happy with our decision

My favorite is the watermelon martini from the Steak House Bar

Totally agree with you. Had considered trying to make it at home but was having a hard time finding the watermelon nectar to make it so gave up. Plus, it just tastes better on a ship at sea.
Monin Watermelon Syrup - $12 from the Monin website or $13 on Amazon
Have made cucumber sunrises multiple times at home😀

Just have him go to Guest Services and get another card

I just made my final payment for Mardi Gras in Nov and re-pulled the booking docs using the link above to double check the math
We booked using the Cheers RU1 code - should "Cheers" show on the booking sheet?
We have never had Cheers before

I had a hard time logging in yesterday, but I did get in. Try clearing your cookies/browser history and what not.
That worked - thank you!

The App gives me the message “sorry, this service is down”
The website refers me back to the app

Hands down the best bar on the ship. Start on the first page of the menu and work your way to the last past. 😁
I agree - best bar concept on any line that we have sailed

I find the roll calls are much more active on a different site.
Some of those threads have been quiet also

I just submitted my redacted statement via email (this is my first stock OBC request) - I am sailing in Nov 2021 and June 2022
I am guessing that there is no restriction on how early you can request the OBC
I am also guessing that once the OBC is posted, Carnival does not revalidate stock ownership prior to sailing

. . . Maybe Carnival can stop leaving them in the cabins and just make them available at GS. That way they could get a better idea of how many people really want one and print just the quantity needed.
I was surprised they did not do this when the Hub App first launched
My guess is that if they did this and just made printed copies available at GS or other areas of the ship, most of the paper copies would go unused
