I totally agree. It is not perfect but definitely the best we have ever had on a viking ocean cruise and we have done eight of them. While Starlink still has dead spots in several areas it has greatly improved the on board service. As Star link gets more coverage the service will proportionately improve. Congratulations to Viking for investing in the Starlink service.

I totally agree with Andy on this. Although we have been seeing dead spots along this voyage with the addition of the starlink system on board we are having the absolute best service that can be expected considering our location. The Neptune is the best in the Viking fleet for internet right now.

Bob, from what I was told by one of the ships officers the Neptune is using starling on board. When I do a Speedtest on it it does show our connection to Starlink. Speeds do vary depending on how many guests are using the system. I have seen connection speeds as high as 175 meg but usually around 50-75. Compared to my other five Viking ocean I would definitely say it is better. They are using it to show the football games this weekend. Hope this helps. rick

They are all listed in the letter you should have received in your room. If you are not on this cruise then it is pretty much a moot point.

Kauai has been cancelled because of lack of tour guides and bus drivers. The new list of excursions is for the extra day in Honolulu not Kauai. It is all spelled out in the letter you should have received. I just left the excursion desk and discussed this all with the very helpful lady manning the desk.

We never saw anything firm posted either but we will certainly be there at 1700 today. Rick and Mary
