Hello there Ann! We had planned on going to Discovery Beach Bar. The taxi driver dropped us off at Carmbola and we started walking on the beach towards Discovery. We turned around and walked back to Carmbola and really enjoyed our stay. We sat in beach chairs with an umbrella in the front row and at the end of their resort. The view was amazing and turned out to be a beautiful beach day for us. We did get there about 9:00 am. The bathrooms, and service were great.

How much was the taxi? What other beaches have you been to that you like better?

I was wondering if there were umbrellas to rent there as well? I have heard mixed reviews on this so I was wondering if anyone has been there recently? It looks like a nice place for my husband and I to hang out. This is one of our cruise ship scheduled stops in about a week. Thanks you for the information! Sabrina

I was wondering how much the taxi is from Crown cruise port to Sapphire Beach? I saw some place on this thread that it is $17 a person and then others say it is $10 a person. Maybe it depends on how many are going? Is it negotiable? I also read that they were not renting to cruise passengers that are not part of excursion through the ship? How anyone been there recently that can give me accurate information. My husband and I are looking forward to going to this beach in about a week! We have been to Meghan's Beach so we want to go somewhere different. Thanks so much! Sabrina

Does the Diva Little Bay still have chairs and umbrellas to rent? Also, what is the taxi ride cost per person from the RCL cruise port? Thanks so much! We went years ago when my daughter was young and we had a great time there!

My husband and I are looking for a beach day to do on our own while our ship is in port. We do arrive at 7:00 am and leave at 3:00 pm. We would like to make sure we can reserve a chair and umbrella. Having restrooms nearby and maybe getting an appetizer to share would be great as well. So far, looking over the threads, it looks like Isle Verde beach would be a place for us to go to? What would be the approximate cab price for the two of us? How much do we need to bring to rent the chairs and umbrellas? Thank you for any current information! Sabrina
