  1. I would recommend Sapphire or Coki beach. Sapphire tends to be a little less crowded. I haven't been to any of the beaches on St Thomas where I wouldn't feel safe as a woman of 63
  2. Coki beach is very close to sapphire so the cost should be the same
  3. We had a great day at resort for a day pass at Hilton. Nice food, drinks, pool and beach! http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/bahamas/british-colonial-hilton-nassau-NASHIHH/attractions/cruiseship-info.html
  4. British Colonial Hilton in Nassau. Nice beach, pool, bar and food. Go to resort for a day dot com. Loved the Hilton, and you can see the ship from there. Its about $75 but that includes a $40 voucher towards food and drinks
  5. Most excursions on Carnival are the same on all the ships. I suggest go to the board with the island you are thinking of the excursion or just do a search on particular ones:cool:
  6. We walked to British Colonial Hilton which had a beautiful beach and pool. I think its like $75 but that includes a food and drink voucher for $40. Nice outdoor dining, chairs and you can see the ship from there. Go to Resort for a day dot com. You can also read the reviews on it also thru Trip advisor
  7. No worries. They provide life jackets and everyone is required to wear one. They ARE VERY SAFETY CONSCIOUS . The water is warm year round so no wet suits needed
  8. Coki and Sapphire beach are both beautiful with calm crystal clear water for swimming or wading. Chairs and food are available to purchase. We bring a box of corn flakes from the ship buffet and feed the fish. They are plentiful and gorgeous. Lots of Nimo fish :D:D:D:):). The kids would love either one.
  9. We went to the British Colonial Hilton on Nassau with a day pass. Beautiful beach and pool and pass includes food vouchers. You can see the ship from there so ut is in walking distance. Go to resort for a day website an check it out. Took my 2 grandsons and they loved it and it wasnt crowded at all!!
  10. St Thomas and St Maarten are my two favorite ports. In fact we have a week booked for St Thomas in Sept. Coki Beach and Sapphire beach are beautiful clear calm water where you can see all the beautiful tropical fish swim around you. You can rent chairs there and get snacks. bring a towel. In St Maarten there are many gorgeous beaches, Just google them, We like to rent chairs right by the port in front of all the shopping. Beautiful beach there. I envy you!! Have fun
