I am sailing Jan 2 on the Grand Princess 10 day Mexico for free and getting $1000 casino cash too. This is my 4th free cruise from the casino and I am not a huge player either. I did get the mailer but I was already booked.

The casino host will comp you free drinks, spa treatments and speciality dinners, He or she will award you free cruises if your casino points warrant it. They basically keep the VIP players happy in the casino.

Who is the current casino host on the Grand?

We had the new Sabatini's menu on the Grand Princess June 7th cruise, believe me it was disgusting!! After the waitress brought several items for us to try, we left hungry and no charges were added to our cruise cards! It was that BAD!

And the winner is.....Endicott Arm!

Sorry I think Santa Fe left me the website link instead so thank you!

In that case one could glue themselves to the bridge cam and see how far the ship gets. Of course that would take a lot of time but it could be done.
Hi Thrak,
I took youe advice and I am up early watching the bridge cam and reviewing your website....could go either way right now...Tracy Arm or Endicott...staying tuned! Thanks!

Hi carqueen44 -- They are in Skagway today so should be going to Tracy Arm (or Endicott Arm if they can't get in) tomorrow. See you on Wednesday!
Hi Loriva,
See you Wednesday!

Awarding free cruises in the casino for casino play!

LOVED IT!! Worth every penny!

I am leaving on my 2nd comp free cruise thru Princess next week. Never had an issue and its a great bonus as I am going to play in the Casino anyways!:halo: Nice bonus and I am grateful!

My Princess casino winners certificate was for 2 people for 10 days with a Oceanview, We upgraded to balcony room, for an additional $500 each then paid $250 each in port fees and taxes. 2 people for a 10 day cruise for $1250 total is a steal!

Amen to the above!
-
But, if you book online you are subject to their regular "higher spa prices" :halo:and not the onboard specials that can save lots of $$$

I will agree that formal night isn't as formal as it use to be. Just my opinion, but my last cruise to Alaska, seemed to be the most relaxed I've ever seen people dress. We had two formal nights and saw only a handful of people really dressed up. I think people use any extra room in their suitcase for jackets, etc and maybe not so much dressy clothing.
So true.....

Yes they do count. Add the cruises to your cruise personalizer if not already on there.
-
Good to know, I've never heard of that! Thank you.

On all the ships we have been on, there has always been a balloon drop in the Atrium. Usually it's been sometime in the evening and only once during the cruise. The time is posted in the Patter and you can also see all the balloons in a net stretched across the Atrium.
On our cruises, the balloons batted back and forth were always done in the Princess theater while waiting for the Crew Talent Show to begin. The Cruise Director's staff goes around the Theater handing/throwing out balloons for you to blow up and start batting around. Not every cruise has had this talent show.
Same as my experience as well....

No bother to me....

Buy and bring your own. I was very disappointed with their white wine selections!!

Same story for me once. I emailed first then followed up with phone call. Refund was accomplished!

I always call the DINE line as soon as we board. Never had an issue getting reservations for the first night!
