  1. This... the pick up hours are usually around lunch time and dinner time. The club is closed for, I think, a 2 hour stretch each of those times. It can result in rather large lines if you are going to get your kid right before the club closes or drop your kid off right when it opens.

As a result, we found ourselves not using the Kid's club as much as we did on DCL that had no such restrictions. Just something to be mindful of.

[emoji51]that does not sound good. How long does it usually take to check in or out?

  2. I was reading the policy posted on the bidding process and rules. This is #9 “If your reservation includes multiple passengers (between 2 and 9 passengers), the purchase price you accept will be per passenger but only for the first and second passenger on the reservation.”

Yes, but I am talking about paying for the room, not upgrading. It is the same price for 2 or 4, with free guests.

  3. My husband and I have been on NCL a few times in the past, but stopped when we had kids. I just felt I would not enjoy or relax if I had babies I would have to be dealing with 24/7. This March 12, 2018, my little one will be turning 3; that means we can start cruising again as both kids can now be enrolled in the kids club!!! Cruise booked April 7, 2018 (we did not waste time). I can feel the freedom already. So long story short, I am so scared of the unknown. Do I bring a stroller? How can we go anywhere without a car seat? Can my older daughter help my younger one wipe in the bathroom at the splash academy? That on top of the million questions I don't even know I don't know. So if you have sailed with younger kids any and all advice and hints are appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  4. We are also on the 4/15 sailing and submitted bids on a few Haven suite categories. Our last cruise, 2 years ago on the Getaway, we got an upsell to a Haven aft penthouse suite and fell in love with the Haven (not to mention our amazing balcony), but I can't justify paying full price. Keeping our fingers crossed!

That’s me too. Was on the Haven last cruse, but can’t afford 10k a cruise. [emoji51]. Waiting for my bid.

  5. Watch out - it is nearly impossible to go back and cruise with the masses after being in the haven!! ;)

OMG I totally agree. This is my first cruise since having my children. Our last cruise (before we had children) we were up graded three days before the cruise on the pearl. I told my husband I can never cruise like a normal person again.

  6. My husband and I used to go on NCL every year and loved it. Our last cruise before DD5 was born was the best! We were upgraded to a suite on the special floor with 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. We love eating at our own time and the laid back attire of NCL. Because I don't like leaving my kids for a long period of time and cruising with small ones is hard, we have not cruised since our first daughter was born. Next March our youngest will be 3 and that means KIDS CLUB! Best of both worlds vacation with your kids, but without the kids. 😄. My question is things have changed a lot with cruise lines over the last 5 year and now having two kids our "needs" have changed. Is NCL good with kids? Are they still a good line? Are There any other lines people would recommend with kids?
