  1. We ate dinner at the MDR with MTD reservations on four nights of our March Anthem cruise. I have never seen a more disorganized "restaurant." There were three line-ups for people with reservations and one line-up for people without. The actual time of your reservation was completely irrelevant. There were a bunch of people with headsets talking back and forth who eventually found you a table. We actually ended up in the traditional dining rooms for three of the four nights (they also use the empty tables there). The service in those were mediocre to poor. The one time we ended up in an actual MTD dining room had much better service.

  2. We just got off Anthem last weekend. My oldest slept on the couch and the room steward had no problem making it up as a bed without pulling it out. My youngest slept on a Shrunks inflatable toddler bed on the floor (we brought this with us) as she still requires a bed rail. Two separate sleeping spaces also works better for our kids.

  3. Hi there,

We will be on anthem in May with 20 month old. How did you find the area for toddlers?

You can ask any life guard, but it is on the port side near the larger splash area for kids. Access is on the side away from the larger splash area.

I don't know if there is any of the indoor pool areas are accessible to non-potty trained kids.

  4. We are doing the same ports in March. My kids are older (4 and 6), so I am bringing an RSTV for the younger one and a no-back booster for the older one to use in Florida. For Nassau, we are doing a day pass at the British Colonial Hilton because it is walkable.

  5. I'm going on my first cruise in March (different ship). We have a 4 year old and a 6 year old. One of our ports is in the US, so I'm bring a no-back booster for the 6 year old and an RSTV for the 4 year old (not heavy enough for a no-back booster) to use in an Uber/Lyft at that port. We will carry them in a backpack during the day. We are only doing things that are walking distance for the other ports. For example in Nassau, we booked day passes at the British Colonial Hilton because it is walking distance to avoid taxis.
