Cabin 9500 (or 9000) on the Radiance class ships are the very last (E1 balcony) cabins forward. I've read that if standing on the balcony, you can look up (1 deck) and wave to the captain or any crew that might be standing in the bridge wing extensions.
Now my question is, how much of the balcony and/or cabin can they see? (i.e. is a persons privacy limited because of the "close" proximity)

Has anyone ever had this particular cabin?
According to my calculations, it looks like the balcony on this cabin is partially obstructed by a part of the ships steel structure.
Thanks

the worst part was not mooning the captain but that my wife was laughing at me the whole time

Why not put up a large sheet of blank paper with a message reading "For everyone onboard - Please sign your name and where you live" Then at the end of the cruise, you'll have a one of a kind souvenir. You could even ask for their email address if you want.

On our 2006 Alaska cruise on the Radiance of the Seas, I ran into Doris Roberts (Marie on "Everybody Loves Raymond). I mean physically ran into her, damn near set her on her butt (on my way to the Windjammer to EAT MORE!). We saw her numerous times during the cruise, very nice lady.

Love the hammock idea - would like to give it a try on our next cruise.
We'll be on the Brilliance in cabin 1100 (corner aft - right under the Windjammer in the picture). Been studying the picture but can't figure out where to attached the hammock - anyone have any ideas?
