I just wanted to follow up with this hotel.

It was wonderful, beautiful hotel. Staff was outstanding. Room was not ready when we checked in at 10am but they said they would call as soon as room was ready. I told them we were headed to the zoo and it was ok. Got a call about an hour and a half later from the hotel to tell us the room was ready and that if we wanted to come back earlier please do. We did go back earlier than we thought we would and had a wonderful time at their pool.

I would stay here again in a heart beat! Great location also.

  3. On the contrary, it's about the easiest thing in the world.

Write a check for, say, $700.

Take it to your local Scottrade office and open an account. They will explain how to buy and sell on the computer.

You need to wait about three days for the funds to clear.

Then a few clicks on the computer and, voila, you are a shareholder (100 shares).

Your entire cost for the process is $7. No big brokerage charge.

Seems to me, however, that if you are not aware of how to buy, you might not be aware of the ups and downs of the stock market. It may be a good time to buy, but then again it might not be. The actual buying of a stock is the easiest part of investing. There's a lot more to it.

This is how i did it also. Very easy to do.

  4. Just got off the Summit last week and it was awesome! So fantastic!

I fell in love with the Boomers, the acapella group, and I was just curious if anyone knows all the guys names? I know Ryan and Bradford, but I would love their last names and also the other guys names and last names.

If not, would it be worth it to email Celebrity and ask them?

    Thanks!

These guys were wonderful. Every night we would check to see where they were going to be so we would be there.

  5. We had heard some bad reports of the TA and was hoping things had improved for the Caribbean on Summit. We also dined in Normandie while onboard, although not every night. We found the food in the buffet and main dining room fabulous!(a reason for following Robert Flack to the Solstice) If he's in charge of food and beverage, I am ready to dine!

I had read the same reports and was very worried. But very thing was great, waffle iron was fixed or maybe I should say new. Yes there is a little wear here a there but then I don't go looking for it. The Normandie was a special treat to ourselfs for xmas. And we love it! This was one of our best cruises ever. We are thinking of booking it for next xmas right now.

  6. Thanks, Laura. There are lot of changes since I was on in June.(same Captain, though)

I noticed you just returned from a Christmas week cruise on Summit. How was the itinerary?? How was the food?? Any other tips?? We went on a 12 nt from Barcelona to Venice.

We LOVED it!!! Nothing better than spending Christmas in Aruba! We really enjoyed the itinerary also. We ate in Normandie every night so can not tell you about the food in the MDR but Normandie was OUTSTANDING.

  8. The Intercontinental is 4*, here's the amenities from Betterbidding:

    4* Inter-Continental

    Customer Favorite

Amenities: Resort, Beachfront, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Tennis, Spa

Just tried this method for 12/13 and the 4 star seems to be Candado Plaza because is is listing near beach when the Intercontinental and ESJ would be listed as beachfront.

Thanks Toonjie, I was wondering what the amenities were for InterContinental.
