  1. Suh-weet! We were planning on arriving by 9:30 so hopefully we have the same luck you did! 🤞🏼Thanks so much for the info! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  2. Ah! Got it! Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  3. Awesome, thanks! If you don’t mind me asking, did you have priority boarding status or did you just get Group 1 by getting there early? This is our first NCL so we won’t have status. Haha. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  4. I have the same question! [emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  5. Hey! We did this last October and there wasn’t a lot of traffic in the roads, some, but not a bunch. The other cars are real courteous and we would just pull over and let people pass when needed. Just don’t take the roundabouts too fast! Felt like we were going to tip over the first time, haha, but we just needed to slow down. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  6. Hey guys, having just disembarked, I will gather my thoughts and post more details in the next few days, but I figured I would post this while I was thinking about it. Do not miss the Martini Tastings at the Atrium Bar (Deck 1) with Fritz (bartender). He is an absolute pleasure, has a passion for his job and sprits (history of, etc), and also Journey! Ha! I’m not a “martini person”, but he introduced me to several martini cocktails I will definitely order in the future. It was normally at 6pm, each night, and you sample 3 different cocktails. He will tell you what drinks are offered the following night if you want to decide which nights to attend. It’s either $12 to “sample” all three or $5 each, if they offer one you know you don’t want to try. So much fun! Fritz is quite entertaining and you get a chance to chat with some fellow passengers in a quiet, more intimate environment. [emoji483] Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  7. Our tv (flat screen)/dvd combo was on a raised shelf at the vanity so we had full use of the space. Not sure if every Verandah cabin is set up like this but we were happy! Pardon my mess. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Forums

  12. Thanks! I went in and it was indeed there! They ask you to bring $60 USD/person/day to Guest Services after boarding. Quite different than RCCL, but not a problem. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  13. One quick question about onboard accounts. We normally put down cash for our onboard account, but have never sailed HAL before so I’m not sure what their policy is. We always pre-purchase our drink packages so we don’t normally have a lot of expenses other than gratuities and the occasional specialty dining. Has anyone used a cash account before on HAL?
