We sailed on the equinox early march and part of our gift from the cruiseline /travel agent was 2 tote bags to carry our gifts in, well they didn't have any so I asked our room steward
1st day of the cruise, well day 7 I asked again he said let me call my supervisor , so in the end they gave us 8.00 a bag, which there wasn't anything in shops to buy for that price that could hold our items.

Ill be trying some of these in 37 days, thanks for the post! and a celebrity virgin..

I have 3 suits from swimsuits for all but what I discovered is I actually cant swim in any of them, the bottoms are too slippery to keep in place or they just fly up in moderate bathing, I never thought of any of this as I was buying them just thought id post incase anyone was in same situation.

When I was on the Anthem last year with the drink package my concern was also that I would have to pay extra for my drinks when I got the drink package, there wasnt a single charge extra for any drink myself or my husband got, you can also ask the bartenders if some drink that your concerned over will be extra, I always got a naaa, and then after few days I stopped asking. We are also going on symphony in 2020 which is why I saw this thread.

I have only used a local agent once, otherwise I have used all online agents, never had any trouble with any and most of our cruises have been groups, other then booking we never required much as everyone booked shows and stuff online, do a search for best agents and go from there, some give 0 obc some give generously, do research and don't be afraid to call or email for quotes for the catagory and perks.

I love the overhang cabins, I had a cabin on the allure once that wasnt on the overhang and we baked out there so from there on out I only book these rooms, especially when your walking on islands all day and are in the sun last thing I want is more sun on the balcony. Enjoy your balcony

robtulipe, did that room have a overhang so that it blocked the direct sun, I am asking cause that is the kind of room im looking for , I had that on Oasis class so I was hoping for the same on this ship.
-
We could not last year when we boarded the Allure, all of us (15) had to sit in new members area and wait to be called, we could of got on ship alot earlier if we would of boarded on our own, and they were very strict about it.

I also am finding the same problem for end of Jan in Ft Lauderdale, I cant get over the prices!!

Sorry you didn't enjoy your cruise, there were 16 of us that just got off this cruise , some newbies and we all loved it, all different ages 59-18yrs, I would hardly let decor or upkeep ruin my cruise, the windjammer I was only in there 1 time because there are so many other choices, like the addicting hot dogs~
are there things I was disappointed in sure did I let it ruin my cruise nope, I never went hungry and someone cooked and cleaned for me all week what is there to complain about..
-
Allure just had them , probably 3 days at least, they werent very good, but rest of desserts were, although I missed my coconut ranger cookies I looked for them daily....

I never drank Martinis till this bar got me hooked on the foo foo martinis, my husband drinks the real ones haha Champagne Bar
This quiet and elegant escape is the perfect place to enjoy a glass (or two) of the bubbly.

I find it helpful when booking that depending on what we are doing on the islands is what shows I will pick for that night, some islands we will be hot and in the sun do I think we will make a late show or long show that night, one island we arent getting off the ship so that night is perfect for long show.........I thought they changed the comedy acts last half of the cruise, so I was trying to book 2 shows, but they wont let you, also they use to have late night comedy show I didnt see that either,no afternoon ice show, atleast I didnt have the option, make it a point to see blue planet, and the ocean air show.

Thank you for all the help, im going to research all the bags and find something, I have one for my cosmetics, so I just need for everything else under the sun, I may have to take 2 bags after all.

to use.
