  1. We just boarded the Koningsdam and no, there were no temperature checks.  They did however hand out a health questionnaire asking if you had been to China in the last 20 days (14 was crossed out), or had been around a person with Coronavirus.   If you said yes to either question, they then asked if you had any symptoms.

They did scan our passports visually for recent trips.

Sure, set up two accounts on Navigator, one for you, one for your husband.  Then each of you buy a plan.

Excuse my ignorance but WHAT is navigator?   We have had our travel agent place a credit on our account ...enough for one package however we are unclear as to whether we CAN purchase two accounts

Further to the other question, this is for work so we would prefer to both be connected and work at the same time so we can enjoy the rest of our time together 🙂

  3. My husband & I will be working during our vacation/cruise (I know, not so ideal but I assure you, I will have a drink in hand when we do) and what we are hoping is that someone can tell us if it is possible for us to purchase TWO unlimited plans so that we can connect both of our devices at the same time.

  4. I understand it being rude to go on and on about one's own successes but at what point in time did it become snobbish or inappropriate to ask people what they do? That's typical ice breaker conversation when getting to know new people. What's next....it's snobbish to ask someone their name?

Perfect example of a Cruise Critic problem.

I was just thinking the same thing. I find that when I first meet people, asking them what they do is a great ice breaker. Better that than asking them their astrological sign, etc. It is often a great way to get people chatting :)

  5. The pricing for this promo varies with itineraries and ships. The general gist is that if eligible for promo, the sailing EITHER has Oceanviews for the price of insides OR Verandahs for the price of Oceanviews.

Not all category cabins may be cross-referenceD, could be you get an H obstructed OV for price of an inside M, for example.

Thank you!! I was looking at a Panama Canal cruise and couldn't see where the 'upgrade' was!

  6. This is our first time considering Holland Amercia for a future cruise. Recently came upon the View & Veranda promotion and have a question about the 'upgrade' portion of this promotion. (As I can not find the answer in the terms & conditions). Are all cabin category levels automatically upgrade. For instance, if I purchase a balcony/verandah cabin, do I automatically get upgraded to a signature suite? Anyone familiar with this promotion?

  7. My husband and I were exploring the Norwegian offerings for Cabo & Mazatlan excursions for our upcoming Mexican Riviera cruise and we thought that rather than rolling the dice we would check in here and see what excursions you may have tried and LOVED!

We enjoy all activities ranging from low impact (lounging by the pool or relaxing on a boat tour) to the more exciting activities (hiking and exploring ruins, jeep tours).......the only thing we might rule out would be jumping off climbs or flying through the sky :')

So...we would love to hear your recommendations! If you could choose ONE activity for Cabo or Mazatlan, what would you chose?
