Well, hopefully HAL will get it together soon.  Getting to 4 Star is a big deal I think!!  I'm just going to be a 3 Star now and think it will take me until 2025 to make 4 Star.  I have a lot of cruises booked for this year but think I'll be a bit short to get to that level until 2025.  Enjoy all your cruising!

I ended up calling the Mariner phone number.  What I was told is that any bookings made before the change in star level would show the previous level.  The woman I spoke to said she would "refresh" each booking to reflect the new star level.  She also said that the same applies to cruise day credits.  They do not update on any prior bookings.  You can call after you have completed the cruise (and it is showing on your account) and they can refresh your bookings to reflect the correct cruise day credits.

  2. We are also on this cruise.  Agree that check in was very disorganized.  There was no Verifly line like we have seen at Port Everglades.  But we didn’t wait too long to get through the line.  We are traveling with my in laws and all of us had updated our info in Verifly.  My in laws were able to check in with it no problem, but the lady who checked in my husband and I had no idea what it was, just gave us a blank stare when we showed it.  We tried explain it, but she had no clue.  We were able to show our vaccination cards and emailed test results.  She was also very confused over my husband’s vaccination card (he got the Johnson and Johnson one dose for his first shot). She didn’t seem to understand why there was such a long gap between the first and his booster.

Thankfully we made it past the initial stress, and are already to enjoy the cruise!

This is a very strange situation for me. Site now says I am "Not eligible to upgrade"... no email confirming/denying my bid... no charge to my credit card. I guess I just sit and wait? I assume that had my bid been denied, I would receive the declination email like I did on past sailings. TA site still shows six B9s available (that's the category I bid on).

I am in the same position.  We are due to sail Sunday on the Dawn.  A person on my roll call had their offer accepted from an inside to balcony today.  A colleague from work is sailing this weekend from Miami and got her upgrade accepted today.  We put a bid on an balcony and a suite.  No emails.  Site also says “Not eligible to upgrade” as well.  🤷‍♀️
