We are a group of 10 and would like to take a taxi to get to a nice clear water beach in St Marteen. Can you recommend a beach that is nice to visit with children (maybe with beach chairs and restaurants) and where we could spend half a day? I assume some beaches haven’t been restored after the hurricane?

And how easy is it to get a taxi (or taxi van) at the port with such a big group? Thanks.

Same here. I find the "private tours" with a tour company are quite pricey. we are 10 people and would like to book a van that can take us to the beach and then to the French side. Interested to hear if it would be cheaper just to take a local taxi??

We will be a group of 12 people going on the Oasis of the Seas in January. Rather than paying per passenger ($20-ish pp), is there a cheaper and reliable transportation company that can take all of us in a van or bus from the airport to the port? TIA
