I am very ecumenical and appreciate many forms of worship. I am United Methodist but went to an ecumenical seminary for that very reason.
As long as there is no communion service most Christians are fine with interdenominational services. And that would probably be the case on a cruise ship. However, if people wanted a communion service then you get into issues of who can and can't preside or receive.

I didn't mean to discriminate. There should also be a Rabbi and clergy from Islam, too, plus any other religious folk to lead services.

I think there should be a Catholic priest and a Protestant minister on every cruise. I'll be the Protestant minister!!! Once or twice a year would be fine since I know some friends who would also like to be the Protestant minister on board, and I don't want to be too greedy.

I just returned from the transatlantic on the Brilliance. I didn't take any liquor to the ship, but in two different ports I bought wine. The shopping bags were scanned as I returned to the ship, but no one took my wine. I brought two of the bottles home as planned but drank the third in my cabin.

Has anyone been in Cabin 11112 on the NCL Dawn which is a BA category? Or the other three BA category cabins on Deck 11? Is the balcony bigger than BA category on other decks? Thanks.

One of my favorite series is the Anna Pigeon mysteries written by Nevada Barr. Each book is set in a National Park in the U.S. When we first meet Anna she is a young widow from New York who has become a National Park Service Ranger. The books are best read in the order they were written, because Anna ages, has romances and grows in her work as the series progresses. I have enjoyed them all and have learned a lot about our national parks. Here's the list in order along with the National Park in which each is set.
Track of the Cat - Guadaloupe Mountains National Park
A Superior Death - Isle Royale National Park
Ill Wind - Mesa Verde National Park
Firestorm - Lassen Volcanic National Park
Endangered Species - Cumberland Island (Georgia) National Seashore
Blind Descent - Carlsbad Caverns National Park
Liberty Falling - Gateway National Recreation Area (Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty)
Deep South - Natchez Trace National Parkway/National Scenic Trail
Blood Lure - Glacier National Park
Hunting Season - Natchez Trace National Parkway/National Scenic Trail
Flashback - Dry Tortugas National Park
High Country - Yosemite National Park
Hard Truth - Rocky Mountain National Park

What's not to do?
1. Sit and gaze out to sea.
2. Sit and read a book.
3. Sleep.
4. Stand and look down and out at sea.
5. Coffee/wine/soda any time
6. Breakfast on balcony
Need I go on? And yes, I know some people have other activities, too. :D
And for me there's nothing like going to bed with the balcony door open allowing the sound of the ocean on the ship lull me to sleep.
