Here is one major reason for their policy:
https://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/cryptosporidium
From the CDC:
Cryptosporidium is a microscopic parasite that causes the diarrheal disease cryptosporidiosis. Both the parasite and the disease are commonly known as "Crypto."
There are many species of Cryptosporidium that infect animals, some of which also infect humans. The parasite is protected by an outer shell that allows it to survive outside the body for long periods of time and makes it very tolerant to chlorine disinfection.
While this parasite can be spread in several different ways, water (drinking water and recreational water) is the most common way to spread the parasite. Cryptosporidium is a leading cause of waterborne disease among humans in the United States.
Crypto is not killed by chlorination, so it is very difficult to get rid of once it gets into a pool filtration system. There was an outbreak a few years ago at a local municipal pool. They ended up having to close the pool for several weeks.

Don't see the word FREE. Do you?
Throughout the rest of their site, the term INCLUDED means that it is included (free) in the cost of the cruise.

Oh really, the announcement was just over a month ago, so for those who don't scour the news daily it isn't new. Before posting, I searched these forums and couldn't find any mention of it.
Also, they are still advertising it
-
I just heard about this but they are still advertising 24 hr complimentary room service:

If you just can't survive without a large display, bring your own pico projector.

It is better to be safe than sorry. If, heaven forbid, you were to have a medical emergency or miss your ship at a foreign port of call, you could need it to obtain needed services.
-
From what I have read, since I haven't been on a cruise yet, is that even though the dry sauna rooms are inside the spa area, they are free for use by all passengers.

A Google or Youtube search for the ship name and cabin number or class should turn up what you want.

For my own safety I also wear a solitaire and a band ring on my left hand ring finger and that keeps the weirdos away..
That only keeps the decent guys away, the weirdos don't care.

My itinerary for the Magic in October has a footnote on Cozumel that says extended hours in port, but still lists it as 8:00am-5:00pm.

It's not necessary to bring your own, but if you should decide to do so, get a water skiing life belt. It will take up a lot less room in your luggage. Most sporting goods stores, like Dick's or Cabela's, should have them.
Life belts are not designed for non-swimmers.

It boils down to basic human decency, which is rapidly decaying. I mean really folks, if budget is the issue, a decent pair of slacks and a button down shirt can be had at most thrift stores for under $20.

237 days to my first cruise. I am so excited to be going as a guest of my grandchildren and their parents.
-
At home, I fix a quart thermos full of herbal tea in the morning and then sip on it all day. Is that going to be possible on the Magic?

I've seen a few requests like this. I'm curious about where/how group names are used. I'm traveling with 5 adults and 9 children in 4 staterooms. Do we need a group name?

how do you link ?
Yes, please, how do we link. There will 14 of us, 5 adults an 9 kids (2-17) in 4 cabins.
