  1. Hi everyone. My husband and I booked the Norwegian Escape heading to Bermuda in October. We're looking forward to it! But because we are making one of our rooms in our home a bathroom we wanted to stay within a certain budget for our vacation this year. We opted to choose the balcony that didn't offer any of the "free perks" because it was a price difference of $1,000. We are still looking to have some drinks on the boat(obviously) but was wondering what the prices would be for mixed drinks and beer?

  2. Do they have lobster at any of the restaurants? I heard they did away with lobster.[/quot

No lobster in Taste and the same menu is used in the Manhattan Room and Savor. Guess you have to go to one of the surcharge restaurants for lobster. We did the River Tubing and VIP Bamboo Beach. Got a small, but very good, lobster tail plus jerk chicken etc at VIP Bamboo.

    Thank you!

  3. Have cruise lines stopped changing Ship's Time to match Local Time each overnight? The last 3 times I've been on trips that change time zones (Bermuda, Alaska, and Bermuda again) the dailies noted that ships time would change forward or back each night if the next port was different.

Yes, the ship will change it's time according to time changes. The last 4 cruises I have been on the boat will do that, but I haven't been on one since May 2016, so I hope it still remains true.

  4. Awesome thanks for all the input...I don’t mind the upfront cost at all and also the 20% tip because I hear they are really fun bartenders...any idea on the ultimate dining package question? Is it too late to use it since the reservations for the places has been open for over a month now...

My husband and I always book the ultimate beverage package along with the specialty restaurants. When we went on this boat in May 2016 we really wanted to go to Cagney's and it was completely booked online through myncl.com. Luckily NCL does hold spots for people that don't book online. Go straight to Headliners (that's where we were instructed to go) to book any restaurants you weren't able to book online and as long as you do it the first day, you should be able to get a spot. I highly recommend booking all of your shows the first day as they book up quickly. Norwegian Escape actually has TV's that you just enter your key card and you're able to book everything from there, just not sure about restaurants. Hopefully someone can clarify. I hope this helps. You're going to love this boat! :)
