I just checked the Review section and there are about 5 reviews of suites on Deck 14.  I see no negatives....the usual great YC reviews.

I, personally, would select this deck over one directly under the pool.

I didn't find the reviews in my search. But, now that I know that they are there, I will search harder. Thanks for letting me know.

We're sailing on Deck 14 of the Meraviglia in about 2 1/2 weeks. It was the only deck with rooms left when we booked for our category (YIN). I'm sorry to hear @Beamafar saying it's not very good. Still, we're so excited to be sailing in YC, we'll manage.

I just got off of the Seaside and sailed in the YC. It was great. It appears that deck 14 is the only deck in the YC that is available for the date that I want.

It would be great if you could give us some further input after you have had a cabin on deck 14.

I still have time to cancel or try to find another date if deck 14 is a problem.

    Enjoy your cruise.

Thanks in advance for your input.

  3. Hello,

Does anyone have knowledge about deck 14 in the YC on the Meraviglia?

It looks like there are regular cabins just next to the YC cabins.

Are the YC cabins separated by a wall so that it has private access and no access for non-YC cabins?

Aside from deck 14 being far away from the Top Sail and the Restaurant and the Pool, is there any other reason to avoid deck 14?

Has anyone sailed in the YC deck 14?

Any input about Deck 14 YC would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

  5. We will be on the Bliss in a few weeks. We are following and trying to learn as much about the ship as possible.

I see that you went to the C&C Meet and Mingle. Did you get a list of the officers?

Can you tell me who is the Hotel Director, Food and Beverage Director, Cruise Director and Assistant Hotel Director?

I will be checking back to get some more information about the ship and the names of the officers if you have them.

Thanks so much for taking the time to post.

    Have Fun!!

  6. We will be sailing in a few weeks.

We can't wait and will follow your review to get all of the tips and insider information.

I do have one specific question that I am sure that you can help with:

Who is the Hotel Director, Food and Beverage Director, Assistant Hotel Director and the Cruise Director?

Thank you so much. Have fun, fun, and more fun!!

We just got off the Bliss and it was a great.  If anyone has any questions please let me know,  But I do want to bring up one person who was great the Restaurant Manager Rogeliza Nanad.  She is top notch and she has done a great job in training her crew.  She will be on the Encore when it opens up next year and we have booked that cruise at Thanksgiving because of here, as well as all we enjoyed on the Bliss

Can't wait to see her. Who are the other officers? Hotel Director, Food & Beverage, and Cruise Director, and others if you remember. Thanks.

    Hi all,

Sailing on the Bliss in January - YAY!! I know the officers can change pretty quickly, and i looked through the last 4-5 pages of comments so I apologize if the answer i'm looking for is hidden somewhere in the thread.

I'm looking for the officers currently on the Bliss...

Also looking for Deepak Punia's email - i lost his business card!

Loved Melvyn Lobo but saw that he switched lines 😞 i have his card still, with his email - which is a generic email, so I am assuming if I send a message to it, the message will be received by someone, whoever currently fills the F&B director position... Can anyone confirm?

    Thanks!

I am looking for this information also. I will be traveling in a few weeks.  Anyone have answers for us?

    Thank you in advance.

  9. The web site says it is Sparkling but if you want "flat" you simply ask for it at the bar. Also some bars retrieve the bottle(s) from a refrigerator whereas some only have it available at room temperature. That is something you can figure out on the ship. Order it on-line ahead of time, better price.

Perfect! Thank you so much for the fast reply. Everyone is always so knowledgeable and helpful. This is a great community.

  10. They use four of them for self-assist. Two aft (Black & White Lounge and La Cantina di Bacco) both located on Deck 7. The aft debarkation occurs on Deck 7. The other two use the midship debarkation on Deck 6 from the Casino Veneziano and the Piazza del Doge. Times range from 6:30AM to 7:15AM. Obviously this can change depending on the sailing. And no - typically no up and down stairs.

    Hope this helps.

    Bret

Thanks Bret. Just the information that I was looking for.

  11. Departure lounge all over the ship. That's why I don't suggest it unless you have very good reason to

Thanks. But, I was specifically asking about the walk off departure lounges as discussed at the beginning of the thread.

    Does anyone know? Thanks again

  12. Does anyone know if the departure lounge is on the same deck as the ramp to get off of the ship? Meaning that we don't have to go up or down by stairs or elevator from the lounge to get off of the ship.

I was on the Liberty of the Seas one time and we had to walk down 3 flights of stairs with our luggage to get off of the ship. That was not any fun.

    Thanks.
