  1. I have started another thread about what just happened to me but here it is again...I just noticed a credit back to my credit card for an internet package I purchased a couple of months ago. I called to see why this was cancelled and credited back to my card and they said it must have been some kind of computer glitch and I should just re-book it on the website. Well it turns out that that package is no longer available and to re-book with the new package it will cost about $25 more. I called back to customer service and now they are telling me that I cancelled it on their website and there is nothing they can do about it and I have to re-book it at the higher price. Why would I be calling about it if I cancelled it? I asked to talk to a supervisor and have now been on hold for over 30 minutes. I can afford the $25 bucks but it's not right to cancel peoples reservations and make them pay more to re-book them. If they do that 1000 times they just made an additional $25000. What a crock

  2. Thats all I was looking for was to have the original package re-instated. I'm not trying to get an upgrade for free. They are telling me that the original package is still available but not for pre purchase. I can purchase it on the cruise ship for $90 something dollars. If the package still exists why can't they just put it back on my cruise planner for what I originally purchased it for? That's not unreasonable to ask is it?

  3. I did save the confirmation e-mail for the drink plan and the internet that were all purchased at the same time. I never received an e-mail about the cancellation, probably because I NEVER CANCELLED IT! I guess I can print out the confirmation and bring it with on the cruise and see what they will do onboard about it.

  5. You are looking for price drops WAY TOO EARLY! They won't drop the prices until they have to start filling the cabins. Carnival will probably not have any problems filling cabins for a New Years or Spring Break cruise so I don't know that you will have any luck there. I am leaving Sat on Glory and this week the prices for an Interior room dropped to $199 per person plus the taxes and port charges. I got an upgrade on the cabin and enough of an OBC to pay for the cheers program and some pictures!

  6. I asked this same question to John Heald through his blog and I got an answer back today that each cruise ship makes up their own schedule for the movies and they do not have any set schedule to follow or movies to show.

  7. Thanks everyone for your answers. My Chicago Bears will be playing that Sunday Night game while I am on the cruise. I will be there in my Bears gear cheering them on. For now I guess I will try to stay away from movies here at home and bring a couple of classics to watch on the flights back and forth. Maybe a little Breakfast Club or Tommy Boy should be safe from the big screen!

  8. I am leaving on a Glory western cruise on Sept 13th and was wondering if there is any kind of schedule for what movies they are going to show on the outdoor screen for that week. I don't know if they schedule these ahead of time or it is just what the cruise director picks for that day. I don't want to watch something between now and then that they might be showing on my cruise!

  9. I am thinking about purchasing this for our upcoming cruise but I have a few questions. We will be taking the Carnival shuttle from Houston to Galveston and we don't anticipate being at the cruise terminal before noon. The option Carnival gives online says it is for boarding between 11am and noon. The only reason I would consider this option is because I anticipate very long lines around the time we arrive but if they enforce the times that they have posted on this pass will we just be wasting the money if we get there after noon?
