The video is gone.
Bloody hell; that’s completely on me 😞
I consolidated playlists a couple of weeks ago and didn’t even realize the impact it had. I apologize for that inconvenience.
The videos are part of a Princess consolidation playlist I now have, and are located here:

Hello.. whom has enjoyed Pacific Princess lately?
Thoughts about her moving away from World Cruises to Alaska?

Do you want Hubbard' Glacier or Glacier Bay. Both are worth seeing.

Himself was trying to help you. ‘Couldn’t care less’ is one hell of an ill-mannered way to reply 😏

When doing your calculation, don't forget the following - which may or may not make a difference to you:
- The PBP includes unlimited specialty coffees and teas as well as unlimited brewed coffee. The coffee card only includes a limited number of punches for specialty coffees.
- The PBP includes unlimited bottled water (small bottles). The soda package does not include bottled water.
Thank you ( and for your service) from a retired Navy Chief.

Just to add the $12 limit is the menu price, and covers approximately 95% of all alcoholic beverages served on the ship including many of the top shelf selections.
Thank you.

This recent thread has copies of the cocktail menu: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2597562-cocktailbeer-menu-oct-182018-caribbean-princess/
Thank you for posting this!
Trying to decide if coffee cards plus unlimited soda is what we want, and then buying alcohol as we go.
Current Premier Beverage package is $70.79; when deducting the per person average for soda and coffee (we would get two cards per person for 16nts), is $49 a day for booze, with a $12 cap.
Wondering aloud, if in addition to the occasional soda and mocha, if we would indeed purchase $49 worth of booze per day.
Opinions of those who have done similar calculations, welcomed.
Cheers,
Bob

I would have been very disappointed if we'd had the Drake Lake. 😛 (My wife, patch and all, agrees. :))

You probably also want to avoid the Azamazing evening.
Do not worry if you decide you want more bookings after you have made your first reservations, your butler can sort it out, if they can fit you in they will do so even on the day
Thank you.
My thought about the Az evening (It is Day 2 in Montevideo), was going to the Spec Rest as I felt (please offer your opinion) that a lot of people would be crowding, potentially, the MDR early to be ready for that night.
Also, Grandma/Uktog, others.. please remember to quote rather that start a new post. Makes things much tidier in which to follow 🙂

You’re right, you can’t book until you get onboard. If you are in a suite your butler can make your reservations for you if you want. However you won’t meet your butler until after you can get into your cabin, so if you have particular nights and times you want, you may find it better to sort your bookings out as soon as you get onboard. There is always a reservation table inside the main entrance to Windows buffet in Deck 9. They will know what night is White Night too, if you want to avoid making a booking for that night.
Thank you :)

Hello,
Found this thread researching for our first Azamara cruise.
We are on a 13-nt cruise in December, and plan on 3-4 dinners in Speciality restaurants. If, however, we only do 3 (we have friends in the MDR), we are thinking after reading this of probate 2 Prime C and 1 Aqualina.
Can anyone still subscribing to this thread (are you still around? lol) offer comment on policy regarding advance booking? We are in a suite, and I only mention that as Spec Dining is included in the fare. However, I understand that RESERVATIONS cannot be made until after boarding. Comment on this welcomed, please 🙂
Cheers,
Bob

So are we! Looks like no one has started a thread for that sailing yet, so I just did.
Head over here as you please:

Well Diamond does ATD in Aus.
I had it for 33 nights.
Dawn, Sea Sun and Pcific don't have room.
Not sure why Diamond doesn't in Japan.
Not correct any longer. In 2017, Pacific Princess offered this as part of 'Club Class' dining. Still, no dedicated queue because of the narrow entrance to the single dining room 🙂

I grew up in New England. When my mom said someone was 'ugly,' she was referring to their disposition, not their looks.
I believe Gerardo is from Mexico. I had the pleasure of meeting him last week. He's a very nice gentleman. He is indeed, very kind.

Is this really the worst example of their "ugly" behavior?
No. Your chosen handle is a far better candidate for that.

I just watched your wonderful video again in anticipation of sailing on the Pacific again this December.
I noticed that in the Grill and the Italian Restaurant (minute 1:36 and 1:46) there are bars. I wonder if they might make a nice quiet alternative for a pre-dinner drink, even if not dining in one of those restaurants. (Also - on the larger ships, there was nicer wine offered in Sabatinis that we couldn't get elsewhere. I wonder if that might be the case on the Pacific also)
Hello Chamima,
How was your Pacific Princess cruise?
~Bob -
....I would love it if the folks behind the scenes are getting something out of this but I sure don't want the cruise line taking any of it.
Forest for the trees.
‘I don’t want the cruise line taking any of it’ - sounds like a non-objective “us versus them approach”.
On the assumption you mean corporate execs as “the cruise line” - it is their product, and their employees. That said, all of them are “the cruise line”.
Regardless of hearsay opinion that they don’t get any because the big mean execs keep it all- you can always not pre-pay gratuities, or pay the minimum rate, and then - give envelopes with cash directly to the people that you consider to have given good service.

Anyone? Thank you [emoji846][emoji846]We will be on board the Summit on October 7, who is the Captains club hostess?
That would still be nice to know.

TM - by now you have received a good sample of folks providing you essentially the same sentiment. Several I have quoted here (and highly respect their input on various cruise threads) and some even live in that area, that have made it clear that any potential slow down or change to perfect / on-time arrival or delayed transfer will most likely derail your plan for a 10:15 AM flight. It isn't worth the stress after a wonderful vacation.
Take this next bit of advice (from a complete stranger not related to your cruise thread AND not on your cruise) with a grain of salt...
Maybe you have some reason to find fault with several of your fellow cruisers on your roll call cruise thread that you apparently have not made much (or any) effort to be part of based on your condescending rant (Post #2194). I don't know what the reason is and frankly it is no skin off my back, but what I have found is that whether you are a silent stalker or active participant on the roll call thread, it is a great friend to you where you learn plenty of good information.
Now that you are locked into going on your cruise, I wish you only the best time.
PERFECTLY STATED [emoji1597]
TM is on our cruise, and has ‘been on many many cruises’, from which they’ve learned nothing, except how to glam off other’s creative experience vice doing their own homework- or at least earning other’s help by participating.
>Case in point - just one month prior to a July cruise, on the subject of a very small port my 10yr old Pug could research on her own -
We're doing an Alaska cruise in July on Princess which stops at Icy Strait Point. The ship excursions are extremely highly priced. What is there to do at this port on our own? We've done whale watching a couple of times before so not looking at that as an option and we're also not interested in anything involving a small plane or helicopter. Thanks in advance for any replies.
Again, asking for help without offering anything.
Take, take, take. MANY MANY MANY cruises?
Child, please.
Cheers,
Bob

There a lot of recommendation in the roll call click in the next link to go there
Yup.
Wait! I have an incredible idea for you? Why not hop on over to the Roll Call for this cruise, introduce yourself, make more than 200 new friends who have done research on exactly what you are asking about because they are on that very same cruise. What a NOVEL idea! You can find the Roll Call for your cruise by CLICKING HERE!
Hope you join us.
Jim
PS: Seriously, you are going to ask this on the main boards when we are all sitting over on the Roll Call with all the knowledge we have amassed over the more than 23 months since many of us booked this cruise???[emoji782]
