First, RCCL will not leave you. The tour includes the Pipeline, sled dog training, Chena river boat tour, etc. The train to Anchorage includes a breakfast, a lunch, and a dinner....the meals were the finest I have ever eaten. BFast features the fresh blueberry pancakes etc. the last night of the train has a choice of fresh halibut (delicious), prime rib (I ate both). the excellent hotels had delicious menus. we spent about 630 bucks on the 6 days. first day we in Fairbanks, it got to 72 degrees, but the next 12 only hit a high of 55 with off and drizzle and wind. But we knew that could happen.

does the rhapsody have pickleball? and where is good parking near the ship
-
Heard security had to be called when some cruisers with only a license plate handicap emblem, got irate when they were informed they couldn't park for free without the proper documentation?
Anyone see this?
-
Will be on it, too
-
So I have to ask...if you don't play, why go?
If you can read, the post said "walking through it"
-
Are there masks available for walking thru the smoke-filled casino? We usually bring our own so that we can breathe. Of course, we don't play
-
Anyone use this? I understand it is free. What documentation do you need? And do the officials actually check?
-
It was the same as the regular line, IF you walked off with your luggage. If you did not walk off with luggage, then it was much faster
-
Of St Thomas, Nassau, st Martaan, which has the best rum prices?
-
I think it is called prime sirloin or something like that....but was not far off from being prime rib, tender, and very tasty.
-
We did not eat in chops, sabor, or giovannis. only Johnny Rockets. We usually eat in Chops once, but did not this time. Did not hear any negative comments
-
Forgot activities.... lots of trivia, mini-golf tournaments, games in the Star Lounge
-
We ate, drank, and was merry.
The good: the MDR especially the largest lobsters we ever had on a cruise, steaks, and appetizers were very good. Windjammer was full of variety. Good ports, and was in holiday mode.
The bad: Smoking in the Casino was ridiculous. People would just go in, not play, and smoke. It was very bad. Did not gamble cause of it.
Diabetics: This is not a good ship for diabetics. Sugar free desserts were always some kind of mousse (7 of 8 nights) and either lemon or chocolate chips cookies, or ice cream. No cakes, no pies, no fancy desserts, no pastries, not even jello. Just laziness on the part of RCCL.
Staff: outstanding
Guest Relations: outstanding
Embarkation: outstanding
Debarkation: logjams exiting ship (not customs) cause of large numbers of walkoffs
Mobile App: Worthless as air brakes on a box turtle. It worked okay, but we still had to show passports, and hand in customs forms. Saved about 6 seconds compared to regular departure. No advantage.
Diamond Club: was small and had the usual number of snobs.

Dominica, St Lucia, Barbados? I know Jamaica requires some care... any others?
-
yes. all drink coupons were on sea pass as was discounted internet
-
We ate, drank, and were merry. Tip: Be sure to bring your binoculars if you
order the lobster tail. Crayfish in the Ohio River are bigger.
-
We brought 2 bottles of wine, a bottle of 7Up, and 2 bottles of water. No questions asked. Probably because the Port and RCCL are fighting over who controls what.
-
We ate, drank, and were merry. Good cruise, excellent vittles, services, entertainment, friendly staff (except for the asst activities guy from orlando. had no personality, and was a jerk). Only other negative was the stupid, ridiculous, asinine, uncourteous smoking in the casino. Terminal 1 is getting things worked out despite their pissing match with RCCL
-
As the OP, I meant port canaveral. Never had a problem with them in years past,
until this past weekend. It is not near the Radisson
-
ParkNCruise at port everglades has changed its routine. You may not enter until 10:45 am.
This was a complete disaster. In the past, we pulled in around 10ish, hopped the shuttle and were in the terminal by 10:30. This past weekend, we sat in our vehicle for 45 minutes waiting, even though there was nothing going on at the lot. We got to the port around 11:30, the same time as a large number of buses and shuttles were arriving. It was so crowded that the priority line was merged with the regular line. Did not get to the WJ until
around 12:15. that is 2 hours from the time we arrived at Parkncruise. Until they go back to the way they used to do it, we WILL NOT use ParknCruise again.
-
Boarding was jammed.... No distinction between priority and normal boarding after 11:30. The process took around 30 minutes. Part of the problem was ParkNCruise asinine decision
not to allow entry into their lot until 10:45. The shuttle did not leave until 11:15 am and
got caught in the traffic. We did not get to the WJ until 12:15. ParkNCruise said this
was a trial run. Will not park there again unless they go back to their original method.
The entertainment was a comedian 4 nights, a magician, and the RCCL singers and dancers.
A couple of the comics were lame, but the rest was good. The ice show was the finest I
have ever seen. Skaters did a kick line to "In the Navy" and a routine of quick change.
Absolutely world class. Service was just downright excellent. The casino was an
infestion of smoke. So we did not gamble.
-
I ate, drank, and was merry. Any questions?
-
We got the email survey and filled them out. All good except for the ridiculous smoking in
the casino. Taking gas mask on next cruise
-
I think they are the old...because I eat the steak and my wife eats the filet mignon every time. Did not see any lobster on the menu, but was available in the MDR.
