That sounds like an excellent choice! The Hampton Inn was great! The shuttle from the airport ran every half hour and the driver had tons of info and was great to chat with. I’m a Hilton honors member so I didn’t even have to stop and check in. The area is right across from Publix, some fast food options and local restaurants. There is also CVS and wal greens right on the corner.Room was great! I would stay again.

Yeah... I was nervous about those times too and I went with the 8pm flight. The good thing... Cheap first class... I'll be sitting around for hours but I have work I need to do, so it'll be the perfect time.

By the way, your English is a whole lot better than some Americans that post on here. ;);)

Yay!!!:):ship:Thank you everyone! I logged completely out of my carnival account, then logged off my computer and then restarted it. I was able to get the boarding pass with the logo. I think my computer just kept opening a cached version of the document, that's all I can figure, but I have the FTTF logo on my boarding passes now. :-)Becky

Go back and reprint your boarding passes and luggage tags. It should change.

Honestly, I thought about getting it too... But I've heard the soda tends to be warm and/or flat. So I'm bringing my own with me.

Don't worry about the check in time. You go whenever you want because you are platinum

I got my confirmation the next day. Someone I know sent in theirs around the same time and it took over a week. It just depends on when they get to the emails.

But... That's not the same. If it were charging extra for flavored coffee, you could compare it. But they already do that. They're not charging you extra for decaf tea. Flavored teas are different than just getting decaf... And I drink both tea and coffee. I'll bring my flavored tea and purchase my flavored coffees. It is what it is.How would anyone feel, if they are coffee drinkers, and Carnival (or any cruise line), charged more for DeCaf, say $1.95 for every cup?If one is a tea only drinker, having to pay for something different is annoying. How would you feel about paying for Decaf?
Cheers
Len

The only time there's cancellations is if something happens on a line. It's rare. Delays... Maybe... But I've only ever been stuck once because of it. Lived in the area and ridden njt for like 30 years.NJ Transit is a cluster with a LOT of canceled trains...and they're not really luggage friendly.Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app

Dude is gender neutral in my book... [emoji4] I've done it with two bags and a backpack... But it's your call

Dude... Take a train... NJ transit runs from ewr into Penn Station for like $10. Then you can grab a cab.

My aunt would visit and ask me for a Coke. I'd bring her a Coke and she'd get mad. Would happen when we'd eat out, too. I would tell her she'd need to learn to speak Yankee. She'd get twice as mad (she was a die hard "the South was robbed" person [emoji849]).Typical conversation in the south:"Would you like a Coke?"
"Sure."
"What kind?"
"Dr. Pepper or root beer if you have it."

You can have breakfast and dinner in the mdr, but lunch you can't... However, you don't have to eat at the buffet. There are other food locations on the ship besides the buffet.Update, finally we will be arrving the day before!!!!Now I have some more newbie questions
We are not fond of buffets, for several reasons, can we have all of our meals in the MDR??
What beverages are included in the price?we are not interested in paying for the beverage plans,we dont drink sodas and we drink little alcohol, its not worth to pay 50 dollars per day for a glass or even a bottle of wine, also, the beverage plan for 3 people for the whole cruise, costs us almost as much as what we paid for the cruise itself.
The last day, gthe ship arrives at 8am,can we have breakfast before?also, how much it takes to leave the ship?we would like to catch the 11 am flight to ewr if its possible.
Thank you all!!

They've done away with the egift cards. They sometimes run out of the physical ones and they'll reappear in a day or two.

I'll give you the run down without the snobbery... Lol... Afternoon tea is tea with teeny sammiches and scones. Basically what Carnival is providing. A real high tea is more of a meal and called that because it's served at the dining or "high" table. But... I'm guessing it's served at the regular dining tables on the ship, so one could technically get away with calling it hug tea... Lol... [emoji23]Since I am an American, as are many others here, perhaps you could enlighten us, instead of just gloating over something you think you know that we don’t.Sent from my SM-G930V using Forums mobile app

I'm guessing I shouldn't lug my tea ball and everything with me... Lol

Cruise Itinerary Suggestions Wanted
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Hi all! My first cruise was in November. We went to Cayman, Roatan, Belize and Cozumel out of Miami. I loved it! I have another booked for August. This time is HMC, Freeport and Nassau from Baltimore. I'm thinking of doing a solo cruise and I wanted suggestions. I'm looking at a 9 day on the Sunrise out of NYC going to Cuba. Any thoughts? Too long? Is Cuba worth it? Thanks!
