Husband, said he heard on radio that RCCL is doing 2 for 1. No where on their website. Anyone hear this? Of course, I only know of buy 1 get 50% off 2nd. If so, let me know please.
-
Thought I read that RCCL did not do eggcrates anymore. If not, I'll have to take my own. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Any idea if the entertainment will be like Oasis/Allure?

I cannot get answers on port of calls board. Has anyone been there? What about horse and carriage tour? Thanks.
-
Has anyone gone there. Is their much to see.
-
I thought there was a handle on the outside balcony that could be closed (locked position) BUT still be able to open from outside to come in. Am I wrong?
-
Can't exactly figure out difference between "on your own" and Carriage. Do you see anything different?

Leaving next week. I have found too many emergency numbers. Any idea what it is so I can leave it for family?
-
Thanks for replying. I was hoping to get a trolley from Fortezela (?sp) Street back to pier 4.

I've posted on ports of call already. Just wondering if anyone has taken free trolley FROM shopping center back to ship. I can't walk far because of knee problem. I love the arts and crafts there, but am afraid I might have trouble getting back. Any suggestions?
-
I know about the free trolley to downtown, BUT, since I have knee problem and cannot walk back to ship, HOW HARD IS IT TO CATCH TROLLEY FROM DOWNTOWN BACK TO SHIP?
-
Would you happen to have the Explorer dailies to share? Thanks.

Years ago smoking was allowed in dining room and theater. Smokers complained and got their way. Then came NO SMOKING IN ROOM. Boy, they were happy again. Did they not think that you could smoke on balcony. NOW, they complain about the balcony. ALSO, the casino. Why can't people just learn to give a little on both sides. Neither side should be given 100% of what THEY want. The world is not made that way. What I think is illegal----why can cruises in Europe and Asia be allowed to smoke and the US cannot.

HI, going next month. Any idea where I can get Conquest funtimes?
-
Might seem odd question, but when I went on Freedom, the mattresses were like a brick. They did not have any egg crates. Second time, I brought my own egg crate (easy since I live in Florida). Just wondering if the Conquest also has these new brick-type mattresses? Thanks.

Leaving Sunday and need to leave emergency number with family. Tried to look it up, but it seems I'm getting a few too many different numbers. Thanks.

As much as I like cold a/c, both times on Eurodam it was freezing. Going next week on Nieuw Amsterdam and wondered how a/c was.
-
Could you please show us the fun times. Thanks in advance.

I've read that some people are using this ashtray on occasion on balcony.
True?

Since I cannot walk that well, any idea of taxi cost to shopping area. I know there is free trolley, but I cannot stand that long (did it once). Also, is it easy to get cab to get back to ship. I want to visit 2 shops on Fortaleza (Haitian Arts/Crafts and Puerto Rican Arts/Crafts. Thanks for any help.

Do they still have store for liquor and cigarettes? Thanks again.

Going on 8 night Freedom soon. Which dock do they go to. Thanks.

Been on 2 7-night Caribbean cruises. To me, they have just about nothing to do on sea days. Another couple agreed with me. Both sea days, they had one trivia and one arts and crafts. True they had cooking shows. I'm 70 and not into Bingo or casino. On trips to Alaska or Europe, I believe they have more to do. My daughter sent me daily sheets from Alaska and there was lots to do. BUT, in the Caribbean---nothing. Living in Florida and retired, I can see the ocean whenever. I have plenty of time to read also. Maybe the above posters were talking of more exciting itineraries they went on. Lovely "white gloved service", but not much else.

Hi, just wondering-----I've been on 2 Caribbean 7 night out of Ft. Lauderdale. Since I do not like gambling or sitting by the pool, I get quite bored. HAL seems to have an occasional trivia or arts and crafts. Also, since I do not like cooking, I do not attend them. Does the 10 night southern Caribbean have anything more to offer (ie. lectures),more trivia, etc? Thanks.
Too much smoke in Casinos
in Royal Caribbean International

Excuse me---but non-smokers complained about in cabin and balcony smoking so much, that cruise lines finally gave in. True, I smoke, but it is a PAIN to have to go to the casino every time. It is most inconvenient. Non-smokers made the rule and I have to abide by it. Please remember, it is NOT my fault. You, too, also have to abide by it.
