Looking for suggestions for tours around the port of Le Havre. We are sailing on the Norwegian Star in September (10 days London-Copenhagen) and originally wanted to take the tour to Paris.. after much thought we have decided to forgo the long bus trip since we would only get 2-3 hours in Paris. This will be my husbands and I's first time to Europe although we have cruised a lot. Typically when we cruises we don't usually book excursions through the CL.. but will if that will be the best option. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

We are doing a family cruise on the Vista 2/12 and our 13 mo old grand-daughter will be sailing with us. Was curious if anyone has used Carnivals cribs? We have requested one but had a couple of questions.. Do they supply the sheets or do they need to bring a set with them? and how are the mattresses? My daughter is trying to decide whether to just bring her pack or not. They are also worried about sleeping in the same room and waking her with the lights etc but I have read that some have used a shower curtain to help block the lights. Has anyone done this? Any suggestions...
Thanks!

Does anyone know typically what Carnival offers during BF or CM? Just curious of they ever offer discounted drink packages or Shore excursions.?? Have two cruises booked, one early December and trying to decide whether to just go ahead and pay for the drink package and excursions or wait until after Cyber Monday. I know excursions may sell out if we wait but we usually do them on our own anyway so not too stressed about that.
thanks!

Thank you all!! I ended up finding them on AARP and bought a couple $500 ecards. It was just confusing me as I thought when I was clicking on rewards that I had to have reward points to get them.. but that is not the case thank goodness!! 🙂

Does anyone know where you can get the Carnival discount gift cards? I have read that AARP and Allstate offered them but I have yet to find anything. I feel like I have been all over the AARP site as well as my Allstate site with no luck. Cruising early December and was hoping to get a couple to help with the drink package and excursions. 😊 Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated.

Looking for recommendations on a good St Kitts tour company for appx 20-25 people. There's a group of us that are on the Carnival Conquest in March and are looking to do an island tour w/beach time. Any suggestions are appreciated!!

Just returned from a week in DR. Take a look at Outback Safari. What an amazing day! Fun comfortable ride, beer/water/rum included. The Safari trucks hold up to 24 people I beleive. I'm sure you can rent the whole thing, or two if necessary.
GREAT day seeing the island, getting to know the locals and riding in open air comfort!
Oooh, I just looked at their website and not sure they service the La Romana area. It's worth a try though!
WAIT! They do Bayahibe which in at La Romana area. Super fun !! I'm guessing if you rent the entire vehicle, they will modify the tour .
That sounds just what we are looking for. Thank you!!

Ill check that out. Thank you!

Im escorting a large group on the Vista in 2017 and we will be visiting LaRomana. We are looking to do a private tour with a few stops.(typically like to do an island tour and possibly beach time) Has anyone done this in LaRomana? any recommendation on a good reliable tour company?
TIA!!

WOW :D Thank you all for all the great advice!!

Thank you so much cruisinitaliano! This really helps! I guess I didn't realize it was better to use pesos rather than US$ in the Mexican Riviera. We typically travel in the Caribbean and always just use the US$. Thanks for that great pointer! Im thinking we will just plan on finding a vendor once we get there and go from there. ;)

Myself and a friend (girls trip! yeahhh) will be on the Carnival Miracle in early September. Neither of us have ever cruised the Mexican Riviera before so we're looking for some advice. :D "I think"... we are wanting to do maybe a catamaran cruise to see the Arch etc (any suggestions on a tour company to book this through?) and then probably go to a beach (any suggestions on a nice calm beach w/bathrooms, food, and drinks) and also hoping to see Cabo Wabo. (??) Any other ideas please let me know..
Thanks in advance!!

((sigh)) Does anyone happen to know what they are? Needing to book a round trip shuttle service from LAX to the Westin Long Beach (pre cruise and return) Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Just a heads up, Carnival and Hotel Maya have rates for 2016. Here is the latest from the on site reservations coordinator at the Maya.
"Yes the code to use for the park and cruise package is P41, granted the rate is not always going to be available due to our occupancy, but if that does occur feel free to shoot me an email and I will see what I can do on my end."
Thanks for the heads up vwrestler17... Would love to stay at the Maya before our cruise on the Miracle in September. I tried to make a reservation but no discounts are showing up. Maybe Im too early? Do you mind sharing the name and email of the reservation coordinator? Thanks in advance!!

I called carnival a few days ago and was told to make sure she has her current drivers license when we board and I went with that answer. Then the more I thought about it i thought I remember reading that the passport trumps everything. So I called carnival back and the person I spoke with confirmed what I read about the passports so I'm definitely confused.
I figured I would ask the question here because I'm sure someone has had this come up before. I like the ideas of the hyphenated name and bringing our marriage license even though i have know idea what it even looks like or where to find it but I'm sure my wife does.
Aren't there charges for adjusting a booking or is that for completely changing a person within the booking?
Sorry in advance for being such a rookie but I almost prefer to get answers from here versus calling carnival.
Thanks everyone for the help.
You are totally fine. Ask away!! Have you paid your final payment yet? Depending on the rate code you are booked under "typically" they do not charge to change names if it is done prior to final payment. However, I know there are some rates codes that you can not do name changes on so Id definitely check with CCL. Id really be surprised if they charge you to hyphenate her name though.

I would bring your official marriage licence that would authenticate both her married and maiden names.
Ditto what LovetheTXsun said. As long as she has a paper trail of her name change.. hence a copy of your marriage license you should be fine. I have also hyphenate the name on a reservation... as sometimes new brides do not have the time to get their passports etc changed prior to sailing. Hope this helps! ;)

Okay... Im trying to decide which balcony to book on the Vista. We are currently booked on the Vista on May 20th 2017 in a Family Cove balcony. Does anyone know if there is a difference in sq ftg between it and a regular balcony cabin? We are already going to be tight as we are taking our 23 yr old son and our 20 yr old daughter and I really don't want any smaller than the regular balcony cabins.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated!! :)
Thanks!!

Just did a B2B on Liberty. PC, Aruba, Bonaire, Grand Turk. I know that was only a 2 week deal and they are doing different itineraries now, but I saved all the Funtimes. I am computer dumb and don't know how to scan, but if you ask me something specific, I might be able to help! LOVED the Liberty!
Oh TY!! :D I may take you up on that one. ;) We have been on the Liberty a few years back and LOVED it! Looking so forward to sailing on her again!
I do have one question right now.. Do you know how much the Cheers program was? I thought it was $49.95/day plus tax but I just found a Funtimes on the Liberty for 10/2014 and it says it was $37.50/day. Im so confused! lol
CHEERS BEVERAGE PROGRAM
