  1. Never asked for dishes that were being served from the MDR but they have always been great about accommodating dishes that are on the menu to personal taste.  The food is definitely made more made to order and they can make up a meal with what the have in the kitchen during each seating.   Between the classic section of the menu and the kids' menu, there are lots of plainer food options.

  2. Had the key for an 8 night Eastern Caribbean itinerary on Adventure OTS leaving out of Port Everglades.  We had our own security line and check in line (although we got there early so it didn't give us an advantage at the time).  Lunch at Chops wasn't crowded and we were out within an hour.

My husband planned to spend some quality time on the Flowrider and the extra hours were well worth it.  Most of the times were split between him and one other person.

Having the reserved spot in the Lyric wasn't really necessary for the most part but it was very handy for Studio B.

We did have priority disembarkation at each of the ports even though we docked at the pier.

Disembarkation at the end was pretty pointless going through terminal 29.  We had an escort to get off the ship but then we were just with everyone else.

Overall it was well worth it for us.

I, too, am confused about these "holds". If I use a credit card on my onboard account, will a hold be placed on it? If so, will I not be able to use this card at all until the hold is released? We plan to stay in Florida for 3 days after the cruise and my credit card will be our major form of payment for hotel, food and car rental. I sure wouldn't want any holds tying up the use of my one and only credit card. Any input?

It's not a hold on a credit card, it's a pre-authorization "charge".  It shows up as a small dollar amount on your active statement but will fall off.  Doesn't tie up a significant amount of credit available unlike using a debit card which places a larger hold on the actual amount in your account.  Unless this is your first time ever traveling with a credit card, you've experienced this many times without even knowing about it.

I am a little confused about this.  I have been to several Disney resorts and have set up the resort account using my debit/credit card (it has the Visa logo on it).  They allow spending up to $1000.00 before your card gets charged.  I have never had a problem reconciling the account using this method at the end of our stay.  The charges always went through.  I don’t like carrying a lot of cash with me which is why this is convenient.  Will I have problems setting up the SeaPass card using a debit/credit card?

Not at all. Just be aware if you use a debit card, there will be significant holds placed on your account until everything is reconciled. Not a problem if you have a good amount in your account but can tie up fund available. Most use a credit card which doesn’t attach the same high hold amounts.

I had 3 sets of clients this past week whose e docs and luggage tags were not able to print for  cruises coming up for the end of February and early March.  Once you call Royal they have to put in a request for e docs to be issued (that dept doesn’t work weekends) then it’s usually the day after that they appear.  Or as others said, they will make them at the pier.

In my case it was all for the same ship....Adventure.

We leave 3/30 on Adventure and the eDocs still don’t show in the cruise planner. Luckily my husband saved the email that contained them so I could print the luggage tags out.
