Gem heading out right now; can be seen next to the Getaway.

We were on the Gem last Jan and did the ship's excursion that combined a Catamaran trip with Cayo Levantado. It was an excellent excursion and we are signed up for it again next month. It is a beautiful island.

Does anyone know if $189 is the new price for all 9 day Gem cruises, or could it have been higher on a holiday cruise?

If you've stayed in any of the Gem Deck 8 Penthouse suites (8130, 8132, 8630, 8632) did you ever have noise issues from Bliss / bowling alley?

We too stayed in 11502 and loved the location. No noise from above (I think it is under the salon) and very convenient to the spa.

We enjoyed the Samana stop in Jan. 2013. We booked a catamaran trip through NCL. The catamaran was terrific, and included a stop where we sampled fresh fruits and coffee. The tour ended at Cayo Levantado.
