  1. Just an update to say that Speciality Dining on-line booking for Ventura 29/4 is now active this morning.
  2. I would like to share your rant 😀 We are also on the same cruise and have had the same issue with booking Speciality Dining. The Cruise Personaliser also stated Entertainment would be bookable online from 15th April but again it does not work. I seem to recall similar issues on our last P&O cruise in September (Entertainment page did eventually allow booking online but a number days after the date that they had stated). Not very good impression from the Cruise Personaliser especially as P&O constantly email you to remind you to go there and book up all your extras and then advertise specific dates that you will be able to do it only for nothing to work. Great first impressions before you set off. And the response you got back says it all really 🙂 Anyway I hope you enjoy the cruise. 11 days and counting!
  3. Yes it is confusing and I do not think the communication has been particularly clear. The current rules came into effect on the 24th July (you are told you must take a covid test but do not have to provide a certificate but instead declare the result was negative at the terminal).

  5. I am on a fly cruise with P&O this Thursday 1st September and have read the rules. You do not need evidence of a test now although you have to verbally confirm you have tested negative. The rules below that are the current rules. No test certificate required but you are asked to confirm you have taken the test (you can even use old NHS test kits if you still have them.) Unless otherwise communicated, all guests aged five years and over must take a lateral flow/antigen test within two days prior to embarkation of the ship. This can be at any time in the two days before or on the day of embarkation. Guests will no longer need to provide a test certificate, however, they will be asked to confirm the test has been taken, with a negative result, as part of the pre-boarding health declaration at the cruise terminal/airport. Guests under five years of age are exempt from pre-travel testing Adequate tests include over the counter tests, providing they meet the criteria below. NHS tests are now only issued for those in medical need. However, if guests have any remaining NHS tests, these would be accepted. Accepted antigen tests include: Rapid antigen test Viral antigen test Antigen Lateral Flow Fluorescence
