  1. Port side for the first 1 - 2 hours. The French Quarter will be on the Port side. While docked at the port, the Starboard side will be facing the city for most of the ships I see docked. I pass over the bridge - port area everyday of the week. After this point just some small communities and oil refineries as you head down the river. I from a town about 1 hour south of New Orleans, a small fishing town called Empire. Here is a post with some information on what can be seen.
  2. Serenade of the Seas - Cabin 7596 When a band is playing or any event is happening at the R Bar on deck 4 your could easily hear it in the cabin. The cabin door is right across from the main fire door to the open area that goes from Deck 4 and up. They even have speakers on deck seven to boost the sound. We closed the fire door at night and still could hear the band playing. Most music stopped by mid-night.
  3. We call it the God complex. Most judges have it.

  5. They emailed back that it would be 130 CUC for 4 people with the tour starting at 8 and ending at 12 at the ship. We sail at 12:30. They usually do a 6 hour tour, but we don't have the time. "It includes transportation in a classic car and tour guide service. It is recommended to take extra money for lunch and also in case you want to buy rum, coffee, cigars, handcrafts etc.
  6. We are doing RCCL Old Havana Heritage Walking Tour for the 1st day, then on our own. We will see what is offered once we get off the ship by the locals. Sent an email to Blexie's but have not heard back from them yet.
  7. We are also on the March 25th sailing. Should be a great cruise.
  8. Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for.
  9. I just sent them an email to see about a half day tour, since the ship leaves at 1pm on our 2nd day in Havana. We have an RCCL tour booked for the 1st day in Havana.
  10. If you saved your Cruise Compass for each day, would you mind sharing them?
  11. I'm following this post as I need the self disembark time for Fort Lauderdale.
